He discouraged the booing right away when he congratulated Obama. And he looked truly annoyed when he heard it.

I don't think that this was the campaign he wanted to run....not at all.

I hope he remains a senator and returns to the maverick I know he is....

I didn't vote for him, but I do give him a lot of credit for quieting the crowd when they booed. That shows he is a class act.

I do think this is the best speech he has given this entire campaign. When I say that, I mean it sincerely as a writer, and not because he is conceding.

I agree. It's kind of sad to think of what might have been. Things might be very different if things had gone a different way in 2000.
