Go back to what Obama has posted on his website, the one I linked. That is where he said it. He said it, not someone saying it for him. And he is so proud of it, it's on his own website.

Been there, I still dont see where he said it was not important and that he would not go to DC.

Did Obama lie and claim he was not going to campaign?

I guess you think dishonesty is very presidential.

So it's ok if Obama lies? In the first minute he says "I initiated the call" at 8:30 to McCain but then says "I have to give credit to Senator Coburn for coming up with the idea". Then later on in the day, the joint statement was his idea.

But hey, as long as it's not McCain "lying" it doesn't count.
