McCain Backers Glum

We'll see who's glum on Wednesday. :goodvibes

:lmao:

I am very happy. Unlike some people, I have a life outside of this election. My family and I have our health. We have a beautiful house and money that Obama can't touch.

If we become very disenchanted with BO, we will move to Costa Rica for a while.

My bases are covered.

In 4 years Hillary can run again!!! PUMA will become even more influential. In fact, if Obama does win, he'd better keep a closer eye on us than on the Republicans. We'll be watching and noting every misstep he makes.

GO PUMA!!!

Is PUMA a politically motivated Cougar??

Hmmm

want some RUM?

hehehehehe

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: Nice try. :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I'm a McCain supporter and I know many, many others. We are not glum. In fact, we are quite the opposite. I am seeing a passion in many people this week that I have yet to see this entire election. My mom just went out today and got a bunch of yard signs for everybody we know. When I got my own a few months ago nobody wanted one, people are begging for them today.

The silent majority has awakened. Look out!

, he'll have a huge target on his back, (figuratively speaking) as will the Dems in the Congress. .

A very poor choice of words, Tigger Woods, but not one I'm surprised at coming from some Obama haters on this board, unfortunately.

Nope Nothing. We're having terrorist attacks weekly here in the States.

But nope, Bush is to blame for everything.

So glad to know Bush's "tiger traps" are working....

And you'll be happy to know that Hitler's germany had few if any terrorist attacks either! A completely invasive and oppressive government that violates its own constitution left and right can do that for you. What a break through!

Interesting - according to Pew Research, it's the Democrats who are glum, at least compared to the Republicans.

Republicans: Still Happy Campers
by Paul Taylor, Pew Research Center

Chin up, Republicans. Despite the imploding stock market, the looming recession, the unpopular president and the dismal political polls, there's very good news in the one realm of life that's always been a special sanctuary for you.

Personal happiness.

Some 37% of you say you're "very happy" with your lives, compared with just 25% of Democrats who feel the same way, according to a new nationwide Pew Research Center survey conducted from Oct. 3 through Oct. 19 -- a period that's witnessed a race to the bottom between John McCain's poll numbers and the public's 401(k) account balances.

This big GOP edge in life's happiness sweepstakes is not a new phenomenon. Ever since the General Social Survey first asked the question in 1972, Republicans have always been happier than Democrats. But the current gap is among the largest on record.

Lots of interesting data in the research. You can read the whole thing here:

Yes, I'm just "touchy." Two young men last week from the noble South aimed to put a "target" on BO's back. Many others have hinted at it. But never mind. Enjoy your fantasy world in which the minority of right-wing conservatives get "revenge" on the evil Dems.

Rie's mom -

I hope for your sake that you're correct about Obama not touching your house and your $. But he wants to "spread the wealth", so he just might take everything you've worked so hard to earn and give it to someone who lives off the government.

My money is in metals, except for living expenses.

My daddy bought a compound in Costa Rica. If we feel that Obama would truly try to take our house, my brothers and I would take our families to that house.

I think IF he's elected, it will be for 1 term. People are blinded now but even the heaviest sleep walker wakes up eventually.

Why doesn't she have to worry about paying her bills under Obama?

Because, she is convinced that if "she works for him (Barack Obama), he'll take care of her". Paraphrased because I don't feel like hunting down the clip again but that was nearly verbatim of her statement.

Nope..nobody delusional on the Obama train.:rolleyes1

Just a question concerning the race card that Obama supporters have been so quick to jump on....if we are "racist" because we do not support Obama...why is it not clearly racist that 96% of blacks are supporting Obama? 96% of ANY demographic backing ANY polititician in ANY office at ANY time in history is unheard of. The ONLY difference is race.

I'm all for making history, and one of these days we will have a black president. I have no problem with that, and I even look forward to the time when that might happen--as long as it is a candidate worthy of the office, not someone just being elected for the sake of trying to make a historical statement.:)

Why would you be surprised that 96% of blacks (although I'm not sure where you came up with that number) support Obama?

He is the first black man to be on the ballot for President.

A candidate worthy of office not for the sake of a historical statement......then I must assume you are not voting for McCain/Palin, since Palin seems to be there only because she is a woman.

I'm not glum either..matter a fact I am fired up also...I look at it this way....If Obama wins than in 4 to 8 years we will be done with him for good and those of us that have seen the light won't have to ever mention his name again...so I can handle that...

If McCain wins than Obama will be back in 4 years and we will have to go through all this again.....and if he looses in 4 years than in 8 or 12 years he will be back again and there we go again.....soooooooooooo with a smile on my face I say....I win either way....

As much as I want McCain to win...part of me also wants Obama to win just so we can get rid of him once and for all. Yup works for me :thumbsup2

There is a part of me that feels the same way.

And she might be a populist moosehunter. ;)

lol! Sarah Palin is a *lot* of things....but she's not the next Ronald Reagan.

As a moderate Republican....registered as an Independent. Here's hoping Sarah has *lots* of time to go moose hunting.

What??!! Take your house? Seriously, what on earth are you talking about?
