Mazatlan, Mexico

Mazatlan Frank...is there a del sol store (that sells clothing that changes color by sunlight) at the terminal? near by? walking distance?

thank you! :flower:

I have heard of these shirts, but none here that I know of :confused3 . I think you can find them in Puerto Vallarta. Sorry I can´t help you on this matter.

Don't be surprised if Frank comes and posts an answer soon. He's aware of your request now and knowing Frank he'll keep his ears opened and post if he finds something out for you. These shirts sound really neat...can you tell us more. :flower:

Just a little note to wish all the Mothers, A HAPPY DAY, and not only today, but everyday! I wish all of you mothers the best. By the way, in Mexico, Mothers day is always May 10, so here we celebrate this Tuesday. But anyways, I am inviting my mother and wife for breakfast today! So I will celebrate them double! :)

Have a great day!

they're t-shirts that start off white...and when you go into the sun, they change colors! become really bright! they have various designs on them. the designs are like outlined (sorta like something you see in coloring books), and once the sun hits it, the insides turn colorful! really neat! our DSs love them! i do too! it's just sooo cool! they also sell other color changing items, like nail polish, rings, hats, etc. really cool! :flower:

hey, starwood! fancy meeting you here!!

thanx for the info! got to print this out & take w/ me! are you interested in visiting the store? do you know if the ones in cabo & pv are walking distance? :flower:

You never know where I'll turn up. We stopped in at one in Key West and (it think) Grand Cayman. There T-shirts are really neat. I found the info on the del sol website. I'm not sure where they are in relation to the port. Maybe I'll try to find an area map later.

Great info, Starwood. As I mentioned before, I have heard of them, but never seen them in Mazatlan. But no doubt, you can find anything on the internet!

Have a great week!

Guess what...someone showed up with one of those shirts from Cabo. All the way in Hawaii. I told her that we were talking about it on the boards. She'll go check her cruise stuff to see if there's one in Maztlan. I actually got to see these shirts change color. If I remember right Disney had these a few years back also. Anyone know if they still have them

I am sorry to say that I have asked around and nobody knows about these shirts here. Sorry. But you can try in Cabo. Plaza Las Glorias is right where you get off the tender from the ship, so you can walk there.

Gracias. I am sure that this information will be truly appreciated by those who read this thread.
Amigos, if you have more questions, please ask!

Have a nice weekend!

Is there anyplace near the ship to get quality vanilla? Is there a name on the label I should be looking for?

Gracias

We are going to take the Sierra Madre Tour. I think the tour returns to the ship around 4 PM.

What kind of options do we have after the tour? We need to get back to the ship by 7:30 PM.

We are intersted in going to Stone Island with our 1 year old daughter. Is the ferry safe for an infant? Do we have to take a taxi to get to the ferry? Thanks!

figment52 : You will probably find good Vanilla at the Terminal by theship. Some good brands I have heard of are: Orlando and Marthas. In the Golden zone you will find lot s for sale. If you take one of the tours, I am sure they will take you to a place that has it. Just check that it says pure and natural and that it contains no codein (not sure if that is written well).

goofyguy7: If you go on the Sierra Madre tour, try to go with Maria, she is my Mother and she is great! If you go by the Golden zone on the way back, tell her to drop you off there and you get a Taxi on your own (aprox $10us).

crhenderson: As you exit the cruise ship terminal to the Street, turn left, and walk to the end of the street (aprox 3 blocks). You will see the embarcadero (pier) to Stone Island. I think they charge $2us per person roundtrip. Many kids go on these boats.
