Still working at the Tiki Room? Always keep an eye out for him on our trips. Been two years for us so I am wondering if he is still there. Searched threads, nothing recent.

Growing up with a Disneyland pass, he was one of our favorite things about going! I loved when he worked Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise...he really commits! That was almost 20 years ago, so it's so cool he is still there and so popular.

Yes! Maynard is still working the Tiki Room. We were there on Saturday and he was in the courtyard area. We were excited to see him and looking forward to his pre-show speech. Apparently he was either just getting off work or moving to a new area because a different CM did the speech and Maynard was gone when we got out of the show. He's such a celebrity! People were taking pictures with him before the show and he was totally hamming it up.

We missed him in July- we were sad! Our schedule must not have matched his!

My daughter's first ride ever was a Maynard introduced Tiki Room All downhill from there !

Two years ago I ran into him in the Opera House. I asked if he would be working at the Tiki Room that week. He gave me his schedule but it conflicted with our trip. I told him I was sad that I would not get so see him there as I have never experienced him on an attraction. He took my hand and led me to the back of the Opera House and did the entire Tiki speech. It was great and a fun memory.
