MAYhem with the Mouse-a GROUP PTR Meet Roll Call

Holy smokes! I think I have it figured out. The person who started a thread can go back and add a poll to the thread.

You will see a tab that says THREAD TOOLS. Click that and you'll see ADD A POLL TO THIS THREAD. Click that and it takes you to a page where you fill in the information you want in the poll. You can also set a deadline for the voting to stop. Once that's done, you click Submit New Poll.

If I am remembering correctly, it will let you add 12 options to the poll.

Again, I don't want to try to take control but I'm thinking 12 options are too many. I'm afraid we'd never get a majority vote if we had 12. Why don't we start making suggestions and the top 5 suggestions go into the poll and the voting can start?

What do you guys think?

Any chance of a Brit family joining you guys? We are staying at POFQ May 20 - Jun 3. Myself, Beth, my DH and our two DD's. Its our youngest DD's (3yrs) first trip to WDW and we are so excited to show her around!

We would love it. I also have a 3 year old daughter!

I'm not going to jinx it just yet by committing, but we may be getting there on May 22nd. If so we will be at the first meet too.

Looks like we won't make this one. :-( Our dates are later this year. May 27-June 5. Our niece has her hs graduation ceremony on the 5th.

I won't be able to meet you all. We're having dinner at AKL that evening and I don't think I can make it over there in time to meet you all.
Maybe....once we're done eating I can head over to EPCOT while the family is heading back to the resort, I'm sure I won't exactly be on time, but if everyone is going to hang out and watch Illuminations then I'm sure I can find you all. Might work!

I certainly don't mean to try and take over the planning of the meet but May 28th is going to be here before we all know it and we still haven't decided where to meet in Epcot. May I suggest that we each submit a location and then post a poll to see which one gets the most votes? I say that but I have no idea how to post a poll.....just vote on one.

That Lisa , she is soooo BOSSY Sounds good to me. I have only been once so I will defer to the experts.

Ok, so I guess I started the thread. Hmm looks complicated. How about we just throw ideas out there and let majority rule? I don't mind the poll but then it comes up each time even after it has been decided-know what I mean.

SO people who have been more than once-where do you suggest?

Gosh, um....Never really staked out Epcot before for a big gathering.

Are we thinking Future World or World Showcase?

Are we going to attempt to do anything or just hang out somewhere?

Don't really know what we could all do "together"? (But then, I've never done a DIS meet at all) Hanging out would be easiest in a big area. We could get some snacks at the Fountainview Cafe, there by the big fountain, and mill around in the area...we could even have a group shot taken by a Photo Pass photographer. I think there are some little jumping fountains the kids could play in (if their parents don't mind) pretty close by. If you are walking toward World Showcase, these little fountains are on the right...somewhere between FW & WS. I'm a bit fuzzy on that.

This is a must! I think looking at our itens. you and I don't have much that would cross our paths. I think I might have to just find you where ever you are one day during the morning and then try and meet with you. Are you a morning person? I'm a rope drop gal, but then I have kids who are old enough to hop a bus on their own or who are willing to come with me. You've got babies so I don't know what works for you. I'll PM you my info.

and then there is another on

May 28th EPCOT at 2:30pm location to be determined.
