Now that we're staying at the CSR, I can't decide which TS restsaurant to go to. We were originally going to eat at Captain Jacks for the evening that we don't go to the parks. But, I haven't read any good reviews about Captain Jacks. This makes me think that maybe we should come back to the resort and eat at Maya Grill. We have the dining plan. I have 2 DDS 2 and 5. Which do you suggest? Oh BTW we all love sea food.

Not only do I rarely hear anything good about Captain Jacks, what I do hear is horrible!

We went to Maya Grill last May and had a wonderful meal. We shared a couple appetizers, shared the ribs, and shared the churros dessert. The ribs were the best spareribs we've ever had, and we're big BBQ people :) I hear a lot of bad things about the ribs, but ours were tender and flavorful.

Maya Grill. Capt Jack's is of a badness not to be believed - unless you stick to appetizers and drinks.

OK. Maya Grill it is. I don't think spend quite as much as at Captain Jacks( they don't have lobster on the menu at Maya Grill) but they do have sea food for my DDS, so that will be better. How are the desserts at Maya Grill?

The churros dessert was fabulous. It's churros with coconut ice cream, sauteed bananas, and a thick, creamy cinnamon flavored sauce. Our server said he had one every day! One of the better desserts I've had at Disney.
