What are your experiences with Maya Grill, is it a good place for kids, ages 9 and 7? The dinner menu looks like something we would enjoy. Is it a hassle to get to CSR from the parks? Can you see any of the fireworks from there?

Depends on what you consider a hassle. There are buses from Coronado Springs to and from all the parks. It's a distance away from MK and MGM, a little closer to Epcot, and fairly close to AK. Can't think of any fireworks that can be seen from there. I doubt it because of the distances though. I guess you have seen the menu. Will your young ones eat what is on the kids menu there? The food on the regular menu is quite good, though.

Maya Grill was just ok for us. The food was good, but our server was rude and that ruined it for us. My DH and I will try it again on our trip next fall, hopefully we will enjoy it more. Our kids, 8 and 6, loved the menu options. They liked the steak tips. I can say that I loved the desserts at Maya, they are very good. I will have to get out our trip notebook and see what the names were, but DH got cheesecake, I think it was fried cheesecake, and I got some kind of chocolate cake.

You can see a few high fireworks from Wishes, but thats about it.
