May vs September crowd wise

Just to know how low (or not) will May be... We went in September 2010, 3rd week, also Tue-Friday, and even though lines were not bad, it was crowded. Not park-empty as when I went to WDW on September 2006 & 2007. Indy was always pretty crowded, even with FP it was like a 20 minute wait. Not one walk on that I remember.
Should I expect the same? Crowds everywhere but lines so-so? I've been reading how low crowds will be, but I don't want to expect much (always think of Sept '06, it was 10am and Frontierland was empty!! not a single soul in sight).
Park hours are 9am-9pm at DL, and I intend to do MM at 8am on our first day, Tuesday; will be 4 days a the park, so I guess plenty of time.

I was there May 9-14 last year and it was a lot more crowded than I expected. I also went December 5-9 and December 5,6,7 were less crowded than the time in May!! I'm now planning to go September 25-28 and am hoping it won't be too crowded then.

Yes, I need not to expect such low crowds, otherwise I'll be dissapointed.
Just have a good plan, eh?
