May park hours

Going the first week of May (4-8) and wanted to know when the park hours will be out. Also, I'm not too familiar with park hours this time of the year. Anyone that has gone during the first week in May - what can I expect the hours to be for the parks? Also, anyone have experience with crowds this time of the year. I figure it is after Easter/Spring Break but before schools get out for summer break.

The hours have not been officially announced by Disney. They won't be announced until the beginning of April. During that time, traditionally, the MK closes at 8:30 P.M., Epcot at 9:00 P.M., Disney Studios at 8:30 P.M., and the Animal Kingdom at 5:00 P.M. I hope this helps.

MK will probably close early during the week (last year 6:00pm or 7:00pm), especially if crowds are down.

...and also watch out for the sneaky early closing at MGM -- last year in May they closed many of the attraction a good hour or more before official closing time starting at the back of the park (Catastrophe Canyon, etc.)....
