May Operating Calendar for Magic Kingdom

Hi Everyone on the Disboards,

I hope someone can help me, as you usually do on these boards.

I am going to Walt Disney World in May this year, just me and my Disney Princess. I started to do my planning and I am looking at the Operating calendar FOR May 2015 on the Official Website and it says MK closes 12AM on May 3 and May 4, on all the other websites (including this one) when you go to the May operating calendar it shows MK closing at 10PM. Should I assume the Official Website is correct? and if so, why do all the other calendars show something different?

The hours you listed for Magic Kingdom are correct. I just saw on easyWDW that there have been park hour changes for May and these were noted in the changes. I will be down there the same time as you, April 30 - May 8, so I was excited to see some extended hours!

in your opinion, would you go to the MK on Sunday or Monday, when it closes late? Some places are saying not to go those days

Both Sunday and Monday are listed as days not to go to MK, we are going to MK on Friday our first full day. Read the descriptions for MK for both of those days on Josh's website and pick which day sounds best to you and follow his plan and you should be fine.

Josh posted those hours when the calendar was first released in October. Here's the calendar he used, which does now show the 12am closing time, but if you notice down at the bottom of each page, it was last changed on 1/9. Currently on easyWDW, there are posts from today with changes to Jan-Apr calendars, and since those calendars also show having last been changed on 1/9, I'm guessing he's in the process of posting the May changes right now.

Josh did post the changes to May this morning and since took it down. I saw the post and updated my own spreadsheet, I went back to double check something and it is gone,
He might be changing it again in the meantime.
