They cost me $1 each to make. If you'd like to donate to my lanyard fund, you can do so using paypal (jlspence@hiwaay.net) or you can donate when you pick up the lanyards on 5/15 (Embarkation Day). Welcome! This forum is immensely and impressively helpful. My husband and I agree that we will never go on a DCL without the guidance of a few of the veteran DISers.

Any recomendations for Malta? This is one of the ports that we don't have a lot planned. Just a walk around the city and a visit to St. John's Co-Cathedral.

If you would like to stay in Valletta, a visit to St John's Co-Cathedral is a must. I also suggest a visit to the Upper Barakka Gardens from where you can see beautiful views of the three cities (Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea)and the entrance to the Grand Harbour.

Its not too late to jump in on the wine tasting if you are interested. You may want to look over the web site Jeff created (look at Jeff Spencers post above and there should be a link). If you are interested in the wine tasting, let me know soon b/c I have to give a final list to disney over the next day or so. Ill need full names of the tasters and a room reservation so disney can bill you directly ($15).
I would love some advice on the Blue Grotto as an excursion. We are signed up with disney. Is it worth going to see? We planned on traveling to the cathedral after the morning excursion. Thanks for the advice from a "local"!

It depends on your tastes. Valletta and St John's Co-Cathedral are not to be missed. There is also Mdina (old capital city), with its narrow winding roads.

When I looked yesterday there was dinner for 2 on the La Spezia night at 7:30. Didn't help us since there are 4. Also saw on one of the other cruise threads that someone had gotten brunch.

That was my reservation that I cancelled the other night. I have a brunch reservation on the last sea day at 11:30 that I am going to cancel. If anyone is still looking for a reservation and wants to coordinate a time for me to cancel so they can try and get it, just let me know.

We are not interested in the wine tasting....sorry. We would like to join a group dining in Palo, but i do not know if it is too late. I have tried to make a reservation but they seem all full.

The Blue Grotto is a really nice experience. I think you will board on a typical colourful maltese boat and go around the rocky coastline. It is another great way to spend the day.

We are still undecided about Tunis. We are not sure if we should go on our own by train or if we should hire a private guide? Can anyone tell me his plans?
