Not Orlando but I did book a car for mid June out of Denver. I went with Avis. It's going to be $498 after taxes for 4 days for a standard and that's a prepaid rate. Definitely the highest daily rate I've ever paid.

I bought a movie popcorn tix from UT and booked our rental car from 5/15~5/23. It's just two of us so we just need a car, don't mind a small one. I was able to book a midsize Budget for $217 and it's my first time pre-paying or booking Budget at MCO. I usually rent from Alamo or National but their rates were too high. I was able to link the Budget reservation number to the Budget Fastbreak program and it is showing on the Budget App. I hope this goes smoothly.

Do you mind explaining how you linked your fastbreak#? I was unable to find somewhere to do it online and when I called they couldn’t help me since it was booked with a 3rd party. I would love to be able to skip the line.

UT sent you an email with the Budget confirmation number. So on Budget site, sign up for their account and put everything including your driver's license # and the valid credit card. After that, I looked up my reservation. It does not show in my account right away. It took about 12 hours. I down loaded the Budget app also on my phone and also 'looked up' my reservation. It shows on both away. Hopefully it helps.

Thanks for the info. It still doesn't work for me. It may be because I already have a fastbreak number and account while it sounds like you are creating a new one. I can pull up the reservation, but can't link it to my current fastbreak. I tried digital check-in thinking I might be able to add my number there but it won't let me complete the digital check in either. Oh well, the savings is still good enough to keep the reservation.

So when you look up the reservation, towards the bottom there were several tabs including inputting your fast break number and your flight info. When I changed those, it showed on my account.

Thanks so much for trying to walk me through this. Unfortunately, I don't have those tabs on the bottom when I look up my reservation. I have the orange tabs in the picture, but none of them have a space for me to input flight info or Fasbreak#. I tried to do the digital check in, but it won't let me complete it. Yes, I just got a one day ticket to Aquatica and a compact Rental from Budget for only $181! Lowest rate I found any where else was $226 for a compact May 18-22. Even if I never make it to the water park I saved $45.00.

As I have to make a two day stop over in Charlotte, for work, on my way down. I found that the discount also works there also!! Cars at CLT were even more than at MCO, on all the sites ($230 for Economy for two days). But by buying a movie ticket I was able to get a two day compact rental from Enterprise and the ticket for $130.00.

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I add my car rental to my cart then add the popcorn ticket. I see that it says "You've qualified for "Save up to 50% OFF car rental rates with a ticket purchase". When I go to my cart the price for the rental stays the same, all the way up where I would click Place Order. What am I missing?

When I tried again for my dates... it is showing ok in the cart with the ticket + the rental car total. I don't know what is going on but I find that sometimes sites do not work properly with certain internet apps. Many times safari doesn't work with lots of sites as to google chrome.

Weird I tried in safari and chrome (logged in and in a private window), dates in Sept and Feb, and added WDW park tickets instead of just popcorn but never got a discount to show up. I'm guessing the discount may only apply on certain dates w/ certain rental companies. Maybe because your dates are earlier this year they're still trying to get more ppl to rent. Thanks for your help.

Secret trick, Always do rentals in full weeks that gets you the weekly rate which is lower than daily rate. And just return car early. So for a 5 day stay rent for a week, Also make sure arrival and departure times are the same

I was having no luck until I purchased my park tickets from ****************** last night and it gave me a link for 50% off for car rental. I ended up with an Intermediate car May 1-May 8 from Budget at MCO for $180. The best I had before that was $335 but it was from one of the Disney Springs area hotels.

There is a reason Budget is coming in cheaper...do you due diligence and read reviews online, even on their own facebook! and UCT does offer good rental car rates when buying tickets! they also offer the best ticket prices of all authorized sellers!

So weird. It still doesn't work for me. I tried in 2 different web browsers and on the app. I can pull up my reservation but I have no options to do anything except modify. If I try to modify, I shows I would have to pay an additional $300 for my dates.

I got a similar fail when trying to connect my third party booking to my Avis Preferred account. My Plan B is to phone the MCO location directly and ask them to do it, which I understand has worked for some renters. Or I might just show up at the regular counter and wait.
