May I share a small pet peeve?

Does anyone find it difficult to squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom, or is it only the people I live with? I repeatedly nag everyone here to please squeeze from the bottom up, but alas it seems impossible for them to do. So at least twice per day I find myself "fixing" the tube. I know that this should be no big deal, but it just feels good to share this gripe with others. Thanks for listening.:teeth:

IMHO life's too short to worry about how the squeeze the toothpaste. I just squeeze it in the middle and fix it as we go along. We still get just as much out.:D

I like to squeeze the whole thing

I agree, but if they sqeezed from the bottom I wouldn't worry.:D

We don't use tubes anymore. The squeeze bottles are much neater and it eliminates all arguments about those messy, nasty tubes.

Easier for everyone to have their own tube to do with as they like. I prefer the bottles too though.

I don't worry about it until it's almost out of toothpaste.

With 4 kids - I've learned to buy everyone their own tube of toothpaste. I have one that never puts the cap back on, one that squeezes the tube any way she can to get toothpaste out, one that twists the tube  and one that squeezes from the bottom and keeps the tube rolled up from the bottom all very nice and neat! Keeps everyone happy!

Toothpaste consumption became much more efficient after our twin DDs moved out;)

We all have our own tubes of toothpaste here too. So if I mess it up I have no one to blame but myself. DS has to have his own since he's picky about what kind he'll use. DD has to have her little bear toothpaste princess:, and DH needs the extra minty kind that burns when he brushes - he likes listerine too

I am very lucky to have an anal retentive (but still wonderful) hubby so I never have to deal with such problems. ;)

At least they are brushing their teeth, right?

All four kidos :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: get their own toothpaste.

DH & I share. I've got one of those "free" gadgets (that has someones ad on it) that you slip on the end of the toothpaste tube. It has a little handle that you wind up so it pushes all the toothpaste to the top. The toothpaste lasts FOREVER!:earseek: When it's finally ALL squeezed out, it looks like it's been in a wrestling match with a steamroller!
