hi CRO and WDTC have the MAY hours in their system.just thought i would post over here if it need to be deleted that is fine,i have already posted this on the theme parks board.
YOOHOO finally got HOURS.

Disneyworld.com doesn't have them in yet, I just checked.

Do you have to call CRO to get them?

It appears so-Neither official WDW site has hours posted yet-probably tomorrow?

Yes you have to call.theywill probably be on the site tomorrow.:p

Good to hear! I've been eagerly awaiting these. :sunny:

Thanks for posting this luvindisneyworld. I just found out on the theme parks board that there is no spectro-magic parade at all in May. And no fireworks at MK the first week of May when we're there. I am so upset about this. I feel like someone has punched me in the stomach. LoL

Geez, I move my ressie from WL to CR on the thought there would be a Spectro on Sat May 17 and I would just be able to exit MK and stroll back to the CR to avoid the exit madness

Maybe if we all tossed some pixie dust, Spectro would occur!

Thanks for the chance to vent and dream
Jason

Make that dump trucks full of pixie dust!!! I'll cross my fingers that you get better parade luck later in the month than we are getting the 3rd thru the 9th.

thanx luvindisneyworld,
I have been waiting for these hours so I can finish planning my PS at the parks. Bummer about SpectroMagic, I love that parade, I hope they do change their mind and let it roll on the weekends though, seems to me that is when MK would likely have more visitors and they would expect a night parade. It is the beginning of the summer crowds(maybe ?)and usually they have more during this time.;)
Oh well, what will be will be, I guess.:D

Does anyone have a regular or email address for whoever decides this schedule? I really am so upset I would like to let them know. I don't feel it's right for us late April / early May guests to pay for regular season and not get the perks that the other pay seasons get. We usually go during value season and there has always been a spectro magic parade and fireworks. Our daughter and new son in law will be on their honeymoon trip and all she has talked about is the parade. He has never been to WDW so he was really looking forward to seeing it. Big bummer.

IMO--things will probably change, I mean the hours were just released to the CRO computers and are not even on the official web site yet.

We have always gone during value season and have always seen a MK nighttime parade and fireworks when we were there. The park hours changed probably 4-5 times from what was originally posted on the site and at first there was no evening/nighttime parade either. So I am thinking that this will probably not be set in stone. I find it hard to believe that there would honestly be no spectro throughout the whole month of May unless there is some refurb or something weird going on.

Like I said, just my .02! :)

I just called for MK for Saturday May 10. They gave me 9 to 9 with Fireworks at 9:00. She said the schedule they have now says no Spectromagic in May.:(

I hope you are right welovedis. I just can't imagine them leaving it like this. Everywhere I read people are posting they are going in May so how low could attendence possibly be? They just have to change this. I am so upset I can't think straight today. When I think of all the planning we have done and then not to get to see any fireworks or spectro magic it really angers me.

The web site still hasn't been updated....GRRRRRRR!

DisneyFreaks-I hope I am right too-lol! I'll be there in May as well and would love to see Spectro, even if it is only on a Saturday night or something.

Doesn't anyone else think it is weird that there would NO spectro for the whole month? That just doesn't seem right so I am assuming they will adjust the schedule later. Here's hoping I'm right! :bounce:

LoL well I sure as heck find it weird. I don't understand why they would have this time frame be a regular pay rate season if they aren't going to offer all of the "Disney Magic". It makes no sense. My family is going to be so upset when they hear this they'll probably want to move our trip to the fall. We always saw a parade then. I hope they change this new schedule soon. We will be leaving in 30 days.

I know it's hard not to worry, but I wouldn't give up all hope of Spectro for May. When I went to WDW during value season in Dec. 2001, they only had 1 Fantasy in the Sky scheduled during our whole trip. As it turns out, they had the fireworks nearly every night we were there. I think they make lots of last minute changes to hours and fireworks, so don't give up hope yet.

We've always been mid-end May (switched this time-how dumb is this?) there have always been fireworks and Spectro.

Fall is no guarantee either if they are not running it in May. On our first trip in 1994, they did not run it at all from Labor Day to Thanksgiving. We went in mid-October and I was so disappointed.

I heard from someone that they were moving Spectro to Disneyland at some point?? I hope not yet. :( I love that parade.

I agree with all of you, it's not fair to cut out Spectro and limit the fantasy in the sky fireworks. What's the point in staying at a MK resort??? And what would be the point of lagoon view???

I think they need to give back the AP discounts, then the resorts will book up, and THEN they can increase park hours and add back all our favorites like Spectro, enights, etc. But what do I know??? LOL ;)
