May Hours

Oooops! If I'd switch anything it might be MK Sunday..The crowds are supposed to be bad! People were suggesting to do EPCOT over the weekend. We are only going to MK for the early entry and leave around lunch time. MGM might be a good alternative for that day?? It is open late too (the 25th) ...I'd think about it. Too many decisions to make!!!

Here are some more MK hours:

May 21 9-7
22 9-7
23 9-7
24 9-9
25 9-9

Just got off from CRO, here are a few more days. Also got some different hours from other callers, so take it with a grain of salt...

She couldn't tell me about parades of fireworks. According to Tink's post, there is supposed to be FiTS on the 24th-26th at 9:00 each night. Hope so, DD has never seen TinkerBell fly.

Sorry, tried to edit this to make the table a little easier to read, but it only seems to have made it worse.

Thanks, Tinks, for the info :Pinkbounc We are going to be there the 23rd thru the 31st! We were planning on going to MK on Saturday night figuring there would be Spectromagic that night. Guess we'll probably go anyway. Also plannig on going to MK on Monday even though everyone says not too. I figure if everyone else stays away because its suppose to be so crowded, maybe it won't be :p LOL I'll be wearing my lime green ribbon, so maybe we'll see each other sometime. Have a great time :earsgirl:

Yikes! I'm getting a headache trying to keep up with all these different times for different days. I will be there May 10-13, only doing MK, Epcot and AK (maybe MGM if we have time!). Which of these days has fireworks??? I can't keep it straight... hehe!

I'm so glad you all have hours posted, now we can go on with planning our vacations. WHOO HOOO!!!!!!!

Read on another thread fireworks on May 10th only so far.

Well. We'll be there 4-9. Leaving early on the 10th. Bummer for us as girls were super psyched about looking for Tinkerbell flying. On a positive note, I was worried the hours would be even shorter so I will keep on smiling. Do they ALWAYS do Fantasmic every night? Just checking on that. Thanks for all the info guys!!

THANKS to all who posted May hours! I've been checking WDWs web site daily and have been so frustrated with the delay of May's hours! Even today, I checked before coming here, and they're still not listed.

Thank goodness for DIS! :D

Excuse me while I go craft our itinerary...

I originally posted these hours and I'm glad you put it here because you made me realize that I forgot to add that the CM said that Future World will be closing at 6pm instead of 7pm and World Showcase will stay open until 9pm as usual. I'm so sorry I forgot to add that. :D

Thanks again cinmell. Do you think there might be a reason the hours haven't been updated on the Disney site yet?

Can't offer a reason why, but the same thing happened last May. The hours were available by phone, and didn't show-up on line for several days.

No problem, I'm just sorry I forgot to add the Future World hours the first time. The CM didn't say why the hours aren't on the Disney site yet but I'm guessing (just as several others have said) that this schedule probably isn't set in stone. Maybe they want to wait a little bit longer in case they decide to change them???? I know they made several changes to the April hours and possibly want to avoid doint that in May?

Maybe we'll bump into eachother! I have to remember to take a lime green ribbon! Saturday May 31st I want to do O'hana's breakfast, relax and we leave around 3:00. Do you have kids?? Where are you staying off-site?? [/B][/QUOTE]

We are staying off site this time. We are taking my husbands parents with us so we needed more room. I have 2 boys 8 & 5. I too will try to remember my lime green ribbon! It would be a kick to run into each other.

Tinks--i will be there the same week as you..

Can anyone explain to me about E ride nights.

From what I understand, e ride night is a ticket only "event" if you can call it that. You buy the tickets when you get to your resort..it may even be the day of the e ride night..I'm not sure...the tickets are cheap, say 10 dollars...and you can ride a limited # of attractions from 8 - 11 p.m. Disney limits the number of tickets sold so the lines are short to non-existent? Someone who has done e ride night can explain it better I'm sure! The rides that are open are usually the same ones that are open for early entry, i.e. the good ones. Hope that helps. Maybe someone who has done an e ride night can elaborate???

There are alot of us going in May!! If we all have a ribbon we are bound to see at least one other DIS'r!

I did an Eride nite once, and the lines were really non-existent. However, it was FREEZING cold, so attendance was probably way lower than normal. Tickets cost closer to $12.50 for 3 hours after park closing. They didn't appear to monitor who was in the park, at least for the first hour or so after park closing, but you had to get a wrist band from one of 3 possible locations to go on any of the Erides (I think there were 9). And the CMs at the rides did check! A party in front of me couldn't understand why I was allowed to ride BTMRR 15 minutes after park closing but they weren't.

jnl-Yes, tickets are available at the hotel front desks.
