May Hours

Are they ever going to post the May hours? It is only 7 weeks until our trip & we can't make any plans yet because they haven't poosted the hours. Is anyone else feeling frustrated over this?

I'm totally frustrated right along with you Tinkerbell!! We are going in May as well and I have been on the edge of my seat everyday waiting for the hours. Hope it will be soon.

Based on the recent pattern, they should show-up around the 10th, which means anytime between now and the end of next week.

Unfortunately, that's not a guarantee, however...

Should be pretty light attendance in early May. All the kids are in school.

We're going 5/6 - 5/18 and made plenty of plans.

The hours this year will be pretty close to what they were last
year.

AK will close @ 5PM
Epcot will close @ 9PM
Water parks will close @ 6PM
ST will close @ 8:30 or 9PM

The only park that will really vary is Mk, anywhere from 6pm to 10pm closings. Last year they didn't have any ENights in May so if they do this year it'll be a 'bonus'.

After speaking with GF Planning I was told May hours will be posted March 26th. We are going in May as well and had to make 2 ps's for a couple of things due to they do not know the time of fireworks & park hours. I do not know if you can base hours on historics, due to cutbacks and low attendance. I would wait till the end of March, since it does not seem like a lot of people are going to WDW in the firstplace, you should not have a problem with anything. I don't know if its me or what, but when I tell people about my upcoming WDW trip they look at me (us) like I have two heads!

Oh well, I look at it this way, let all the nay sayer doom & gloomers sit at home with their cans of tuna, bottles of water and duct tape!

Less crowds = more fun for all of us

We too are going beginning of May-our favorite time. Only problem might be grad nights. Weather always co-operates, crowds are moderate. I have made all my PS already and will make adjustments later if need be.

That's what I did too, I made some PS yesterday for May 9 to 16. I agree with JJS2K3, you can pretty much bet on those hours. MK is the only question. I expect it to be open later on Saturday with Spectromagic and the rest of the nights close early. The only PS I need to make is Mother's Day dinner at Cinderella's, I have to call on Wednesday.

We went Mother's Day Weekend in 2000 & 2001 and the week before in 2002 (AP's expiring) and crowds were not bad. I just hope this year is a little cooler, it was 95 last year. All the poor flowers at the Flower & Garden Festival were wilted.
