May hours horrible

Do they extend hours later on or something.
when I go in May the magic kingdom hours are only 9-5 and the other parks 11-7.
seriously? Why the short hours? Do they extend them later on?

Shorter park hours can be good some times. It usually means the crowds are lower and you can ride more in less time and then go rest up for the next day. : )

They tend to extend park hours as you get closer week by week. I think right now they are still extending hours for weeks in April.
