May have to cancel our trip

Heard today that the company DF and I work for is going into adminstration and unless someone buys us soon, we are screwed.
It's not so much a problem for me, as I have another job I can fall back on, but DF is a supervisor there and will fall harder than I.
Just can't believe it, after having to cut short last years trip and now this... I'm just destined never to step foot on Main Street again. Not to mention the fact that even with insurance, I wont get everything I paid back!

I get chills (not good) when I see titles like this on threads. Do you and your DH both work for the same company? I hope he gets something quickly. It sounds like you really deserve a trip.

Gosh, I am sorry you have had such bad news. Are you due to go in 3 weeks time? What bad luck to have this dropped on you so close. Hopefully you can work something out, a holiday is just what you need

No, I can still go on my trip to Disneyland Paris, luckily. But my trip in 5 months to WDW is most definiatly uncertain.
I'm in complete shock still, to see the closing down posters and everything... we may still get bought out but who knows...
If anyone has a spare 50 million and wants to buy a well known and established shoe brand..

BT have shut the servers off nationwide, so I'm guessing they haven't been paid either...
Things are not looking good but won't know anything more until Monday now.. I just hate not knowing.

New update, just got a call ten minutes ago. Faith will be gone by the end of the week.
I'll get redundancy pay from the government because the company obviously can't afford to pay out.

I'm in a state of shock and really just can't believe it.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this news I really feel for you both and no amount of redundancy pay can make it any easier. I really hope you and your DF find yourselves new and exciting jobs very soon.

One day you'll get to Disney, don't you worry about that. Disney will still be around and probably even bigger and better if you need to head there at a later date.
