May free dining??

So we are going early may, booked it back in like January with the 4/3 deal. No I get the email this week with the kids eat free deal. So my question.... are we eligble for that as well or can I have them re-quote my package for the latest deal? Hate to miss out on the kids eating free. I get so confused with all the "rules", so if anyone can let me know what if any option I may have.

You can only have one deal at a time. I would think that your 4/3 deal would be a much better offer than kids eating free though.

Figured as much on the one deal at a time... and Your probably right about the 4/3 being betetr, would love to be able to figure out the price difference though. I may need to try to calculate it on my own. thanks !

How could disney police only the kids eating free? With a family of 4, I would think the parents could have the kids order the steaks and seafood (for free) while the adults ordered the hamburgers and fries - and then switch plates mid meal. It doesn't seem easy to manage that type of free offer - unless of course is was soley for the counter service meals

Are you staying at the Contemporary?

The cheapest room there is $325/night so if you're going 7 nights you're saving $325 + 12.5% resort tax x 3 free nights=$1,097.

Free dining for 2 kids for for 7 nights would be $10.99 x 2 children x7 nights=$154. [I don't think you pay tax on DDP]


Plus if you got 7 day park tickets for the 4 of you the 4/3 deal saved you about $40 on those too.

Call Disney and have them re-quote it for you. As long as you are not within 45 days of your trip they will change it for you for no cost but if you are within 45 days then they will charge you a $50 change fee. The 4/3 is probably better but it never hurts to ask!!

We are going in May and using the kids stay, play, and dine free package. It turned out to be a better deal for us than the 4/3 deal because we have 4 kids. We would have been only paying for 3 of them. So I know with 3 kids it turned out to be a better deal then the 4/3. We are staying at POR, so I don't know which would be a better deal if you were paying at a more expensive hotel. We are also staying for 9 nights and would have had to pay for 6 nights with 3 free if we chose the 4/3 deal. It never hurts to call and get a quote.

The kids stay, play and eat free deal was a better deal for us than the 4/3 deal too.... My advice, run your numbers both ways and see which is better for your family.
