what to do seven days onboard without getting off ?
do they have shows every night ( different ones ?
and movies in the theater I hope they put more movies than on a 7 nights ..
this one is mainly in Spain …
barcelona is port airport really close from each other ?

thanks

Transatlantics cab be rough or calm. Past September we even had the pool closed for a day.
Movietheatre is the same stuff as on another cruise

Like someone above said, rough seas are pretty impossible to predict. Ours was pretty calm, though we were "surfing" the front of a storm. The captain will do what they can to keep guests happy, and that includes keeping the boat as still as possible. But still, weather happens.

We were more busy on sea days than port days. There's constant activities (if you want) trivia, drawing, lectures, movies. There is a show every night, though still only the 3 "broadway style" shows. Then some guest performers - jugglers, magicians, comedian type things. Also, often the mainstage performers will put on a show or there could be a crew talent show - I think that kind of stuff depends on the cruise director.

I've never actually watched a movie on a ship so can't speak to that.

We stayed in Barcelona for a couple days after but the airport isn't that close to the port. I want to say it was maybe a 25 minute cab ride from our hotel which was about 10 minutes from the port (but it was in a triangle so ... I'd give it maybe 20-30 minute cab ride. There were TONS of cabs (and TONS of people waiting for them) at the cruise port.

We were on the eastbound TA two years ago in May. The weather was glorious. Seas were calm. We missed the Azores because of a typhoon which the captain told us about but never felt any evidence of it, he did a masterful job of going around it. We also just did the transpacific from Honolulu to Sydney. Even more sea days. There is plenty to do during the day or nothing to do. My sea day always starts with a latte at the cove, a workout in the gym, and getting a lounge at the pool with my kindle. There are usually lectures…the transpacific had an award winning nature photographer who showed some of his photos, had tips on taking photos, sold his book, etc. there are cooking demonstration, trivia, cocktail tastings, movies, crafts, dance lessons, etc. There are different entertainers every night interspersed with the Disney shows. And a variety of things to do late at night. There will be the usual late night shows on deck like pirate night, maybe frozen, maybe marvel…just depends on any theme the ship has. And lots of character interactions throughout the day and night.
Longer cruises like this are our favorite because we love sea days, we love getting to know our servers in the MDR, love the laid back nature of sea days.
barcelona is a wonderful city, I’d encourage you to spend an extra day or two there. The airport is about 25 to 30 min drive from Barcelona city center depending on time of day,

We were on the EB last year out of Miami. We had very smooth sailing. We had one bad night before we got into Lisbon.

There are so many things to do on the ship. There is entertainment every night whether it be a show, movie, juggler, comedian, singer, etc.

During the day there are arts and crafts, tastings, trivia games, cooking demonstrations, hanging out at the pool, enjoy a good book, etc.

The airport is not far from the port by taxi. But, Barcelona is such a great city to visit and spend some time in.

The days will fly by at sea. It was one of the best cruises I've been on.

We, too, were on the EBTA last May and it was the best vacation I've taken in my life. I would do it every year if my work allowed it.

The sea days were AMAZING. So many options and fun things done only on those long cruises. They ran new and old movies all day - I got to see Pollyanna in the theater for the first time in my life! Games, characters, shows, special events like hearing from an Imagineer, silent dance parties, cooking demos, ship tours, adult only nights in the kids club (AWESOME), towel folding classes, etc. Even with 13 nights, I didn't get to do everything I wanted.

Weather was great, absent one bumpy night. And we saw whales!

Evening shows were every night, including the staff talent show and other fun things. Some we attended, some we skipped.

We stayed in Barcelona for 3 additional nights upon arrival. Loved every port - just a beautiful part of the world. I hope to return for a longer trip to Lisbon one day!
