MAY Countdown!! This is it, folks

So nostalgic right now, wish I was there!!! So happy for you guys that you're still in the countdown!!
I'll try to make a quick-mini trip report in the week, have a lot of pics so maybe I can add one or two .
Very very quickly:
1, Don't rely on Accuweather!! It was supoosed to be hot & sunny last week, checked that every day! I arrived on Saturday 28th on San Diego, and yes, it was incredible hot & sunny... and then for the next 5 days, it was cloudy (never saw the sun until Thursday, I think), windy and cooler than I expected, I only have a light sweatshirt so I was kind of cold, so was my DD! DS had a tigger sweatshirt that he never took it off, I couldn't even wash it! eew! Didn't want to buy him another since he have a lots at home.
2. Crowds. Way higher that I expected, never saw the park empty, so I guess "low crowds" means not to have to wait in line more than 30 minutes. Longest line was TSMM 30-40 minutes both times. Other than that we did fine with fastpass. 4 days was not enough! specially with a MIL in WC.
3. Food. Great food at Naples and Jolly Holiday Bakery! Not so good at Jazz Kitchen Express and Mimis (except for their breakfast, that was good!). Loved the new ice cream place, so cute!

Hello!

This will be our third trip to DL! We will be there from May 18 - 22nd. Staying at the Disneyland Hotel with DVC points.

I couldn't agree with you MORE! It was way more crowded then we thought!!! Sure we didn't wait more then 30 mins but there seemed to people everywhere! I couldn't believe it! I luckily packed one pair of jeans for each girl for our Sunday in the park. I was afraid that when the sun went down they would be cold! Thank GOD! Or else we wouldn't have been in trouble! I packed everyone a hoodie because we had to get up really early in the morning and I knew they would be cold. But it was grey and drizzly most of the trip! I couldn't believe it! It was NOT what the weather apps had reported! We had a great trip too! We got to meet Rapunzel so Dd was on cloud nine! I have to say I was sad that we didn't bump in to any disers usually when we go during low trips we see some fellow disers! Mostly all we saw was field trip groups!

I forgot about the field trip groups!! OMG there were a lot of them!!! Fortunately I never coincide with them at the lines!

Finally got my vacation package from UPS but I was at work when they tried to deliver it so I have to set it up to go to thye UPS store and pick it up tomorrow. But atleast I know its here. 2 1/2 weeks left and we will be in the land.

Oh my goodness, my father tried to give our package back to UPS because he forgot that it was going to be under my boyfriends name, and not mine. I would have just died if they took it back! Haha.

Just 8 more days for us, though. And I don't think we could be more excited.

We are on day 2 of 3 at DL now! It's even better than I anticipated. The attention to detail is amazing. The weather has been perfect! High 70's with a nice breeze!

Since I've only been here once (22 yrs ago), it seems pretty crowded to me, though the wait times have been decent. I'd hate to be here in the summer!

I'm having just as much fun as the kids!

The only downside: I got a cold four days before we left which then turned into bronchitis. I'm finally getting better. I refused to let it ruin anything.

We did Goofy's Kitchen last night which was SO expensive but SO worth it! My 4yr old's eyes were huge the whole time and she never stopped smiling. My older kids couldn't get enough at the buffet.

Right now, we're on a break so I'd better get these kids to the pool!
