I really enjoy reading everything on here but I have so little time to reply. There is so much on here that I would want to reply to also! The more days that go by , the more exciting the thread becomes!!


My DH has also become interested as I've been telling him about all of the flying things in here. He is a pilot and loves all things planes. He was in the civil air patrol for a few years.

We have a DS that is 11. I haven't seen anything on here about the Edge or seen anyone with kids around his age. Anyone know anything about the Edge?

I love all the pics of people and the furbabies!

I was trying to get my FE finished tonight and my printer malfunctioned. I am using iron on paper for the appliques. So after dh messed with it for an hour, I finally got them to all print and now I just need to cut them out and iron them on. I can't believe I made this FE without sewing! I'm pretty proud of myself.

Hi everyone! Im still here. I am so behind! I went shopping today to get started on my FE gifts. I am really excited! I think they are going to be really cute. I am not crafty at all.. so this is a big thing for me

Brittany... I have friends that went to the Atlantis and they rented a room for the day because it was cheaper than the excursion.

Lainey.. My DD would LOVE to swim with the dolphins, honestly I would love to as well. It is just SOOO expensive!!!

We will just find a beach in the Bahamas. Ive been to the Atlantis a few times and have stayed there, so I dont feel like I need to go back. It is gorgeous though!

SweetPea did I ever comment on your FE?? You did a great job

As for pets... we have 3 dogs! Bosco is our chocolate Lab, Teto is a chihuahua, and Frankie is a Yorkie Shih tzu mix. We also have a Bearded Dragon named Ozzie (such a cool pet!) and 2 Dwarf African Frogs. We have a small zoo!

Ok time to clean up my Disney mess! I cant have the kids see this... they still have no clue! Hope everyone is doing well. I will try to be better with checking it

On a different note, John just informed me that we are going to the White House Easter Egg Roll. We didn't get in through the lottery but through his work.. now I'm on the hunt for matching outfits, we've never been!!!!!! The good news is, we can wear them on the cruise!

Wow that is a Zoo! I'm taxed at just having 2 dogs and 3 kids. I was thinking about a nice little bird that would sing to me, but I hear they throw seed all over the floor. Knowing me I'll find a bird cage for a 1.00 and that will be the deciding factor on whether I get a bird. I'm a nut for bargains, even if they cost me more in the end.

The only info I have is from my Niece (11) who was on the Dream in December, and she loved the Edge! She loved the freedom she had at checking in and out to meet up with her parents for dinner. She would know from the Navigator which activities she wanted to do , and she would just pop back into the Edge to do them. I hope this helps somewhat.

Lastly, and sadly, this is Tucker. Tucker unexpectedly and inexplicably passed away 2 days after Christmas. He was 8 and this house is still not the same.

Trip related update - We switched all our flights. We are now in and out of Orlando. Woo hoo! We're going to spend all three nights at Pop and LegoLand and the Magic Kingdom. I'm super excited to have time to play in Downtown Disney too!

What a bunch of cuties!! Those 4 cats would have my husbands allergies going crazy!! Brian is brainwashing our kids that they can never have cats because if they do he can't visit them when they're older. They just respond with, "Well, you go see Uncle Pat and he has 3 cats!" They've got him figured out.

You picked up my decorating style.....Black, white and bland all over When we got Sadie I had to stop wearing anything white and tan! She sheds like crazy! It's like we have a Sasquatch living in our house with us. I had to stop wearing anything white or tan, heck anything light for that matter so now I wear only black or jeans. Then Maya tells me she wants her own dog a cute WHITE dog she can name Popcorn. Ahhh how cute, but NO!! I'm already down to nothing but black then add a white dog into the mix! The solution, get the tiniest dog in BLACK I could find and name her Licorice. Yeah, all is right in my wardrobe world. Sigh...

I love the black and white as well! I have always wanted to do a black and white bathroom with accents of soft pink or red (but not both!) but my DH doesn't like the idea. Maybe someday!

I know. I never shut up. And just think, I only type/say only a smidge of all the stuff rattling around in my brain. Can you imagine???? LOL!

Oh don't get me wrong, the Dream is amazing! We totally and completely love her. I kinda set myself up for the mini-breakdown I had. I read so much before the cruise and had this whole list of things in my brain that I wanted to do and see on that ship. I thought I was gonna explore every nook & cranny and see/do it all....in 3 days. I know. I know. It's okay to laugh at the sheer stupidity in THAT statement. I can look back and have a good laugh now. Plus, I'd never been on a cruise before so getting the rhythm of the way a cruise day works (vs. the way a WDW day progresses) was a concern. Then there was fatigue, my ongoing week-long headache, PLUS it was hormone-hell-week. Feeling utterly lost was the straw that broke the camel's back that day. Ugh! I can look back and laugh now but in the moment you'da thunk someone ran my little fur baby over. I was almost inconsolable. Bless my wonderful husband for being the saint he is with me on days like that. He was patient (I think it was all the drinks we'd been drinking ), sweet, and really picked my spirits up. And ya know, we never saw the art gallery, the night clubs, or a whole list of other things. 3 days was over before it got started. I'm so psyched about the Magic because it's smaller and different. Any way you slice it, cruising is total awesome-sauce on the best day and I can't wait to get back onboard!

I love all your wordiness! I feel like I know you already. I am a total chatty Cathy in real life (though I hear I talk really FAST so I try to work on that).
I am sure sometime I'd love to try the Dream but I am glad we are doing the Magic for our first cruise. I think it's a good way to sort of ease into it. I am already wanting to book another one, but since I'll be having baby #2 in September it makes timing weird. I guess we'll have to wait a few years.

That is so awesome! I seriously considered doing this, or doing duct tape or SOMETHING, but in the end I'd rather spend the time working on FE gifts, and since I am doing all this travelling and having family visit and stuff I just got a little overwhelmed. So Etsy it is!

Your little ones are so adorable! And I am truly sorry to hear about Tucker. There are few things in life harder than that sort of sudden loss.

I am officially in my second trimester today, and the PA at my OB office gave me the all clear to fly both to Vegas and to FL for the cruise (as well as for the cruise itself) and said next appt (in April) the actual doc will give me a letter stating my estimated due date, just in case DCL needs it. Phew.

Now if I could just get over this cold with sore throat, I should be feeling more up to getting things done!

I love your pets' pictures they are all so cute!!! Actually, we don't have dogs and cats yet. Though my kids would love to have one, I told them that as I work a lot when they show me "responsability" with pets I´ll get a new familiy member... so far, we have a rabbit, her name is Chichi. She's beautiful and is two y/o.

I just booked the Blue Lagoon Beach day. I just can't spend that much on the dolphins. Even the beach day is a hit to the pocket with 3 kids... but, I'm determined to do SOMETHING.


***ETA**** Just looking around our reservations and happened to see Palo Brunch open at 11:30 on sea day (I booked it)!!! My mom wants us to have a romantic night (ha-ha) but from the reviews I'm reading... brunch is the one to go to! yes?

Anyone know who our live entertainer will be for our cruise? I've received e-mails from Heath Hyche and John Charles, and they will not be on our cruise. John will be on the Wonder during that time.
