Jen I was thinking the same thing about our dd's. Raina would love to participate in the teen area and has already pronounced herself a teen although she just turned 12 silly girl!! I told her she can't go to the teen area and she was a bit put out but yes the girls can meet and hang out poolside or wherever else. I'm sure she would love to meet a gal pal around her age. LOL napkin waving huh hmmm that might work b/c I don't have a dh to think I'm crazy!! Nah we have to figure out something

Bobbi - you are so funny. I have no idea what I'm wearing anywear and I'm not even quite done all of my shopping for myself This weekend is it though. I can't wait to meet you and your kids if they make it. I know my dd will hang in until the last possible moment but she's older too.

Mianc - Cute picture and that should help some with recognizing you.

Micky suggested using the Disney chips from the Home Depot in Lime Green to identify us but maybe someone could make a little sign (we have markers too) that just says "Disers" and then people will just have to look around a bit to find us especially once we congregate. Anyone else have any suggestions about that?

Can everyone obtain these? They are in the shape of a Mickey Head and I think the Dis color is Alien Green. You can only get them at Home Depot I am guessing b/c the Lowes around me do not carry the Disney Brand Paint. If this is a problem maybe we can switch to wearing a character picture pinned to our shirt or something??? Too bad we can't bolw up the Dancing Banana from here and use it for identifying one another, I've never seen that one before these boards.
Worse case senario you can look for 3 Ladies acting super silly and two kids rolling their eyes looking for an escape , and that would be Julie and I.

I already have my paint chips! Have them laminated with Baloo&Crew written on it. I left the paint chip in tact (didn't cut Mickey out so it could be bigger.) Maybe I'll hang it from my pin lanyard and really make my DD13 eyes roll!!

The TA went all out for us.... we have a room at the church where she set up a nice spread of finger foods, and a cake she did an Awesome job and had the tables decorated with confetti that was of course "Mickey" and then she had Balloons, streamers, she gave us all a gift it was a sling bag with the name of our group "Westside Baptist Church" Singles Cruise 2005... they are really nice... so when you guys see those bags in the line you know I will be in that group... you wont be able to miss me I am a large woman, my husband is bald and my beautiful daughter has long Red hair and a voice like an angel, hopefully she will sing for karoke night... anyway the party was just what we needed to hold us over until we board the boat....

She always goes the extra mile....

YEAH A WEEK FROM TODAY!!! can you guys believe it!!!, Ok I went shopping yesterday and finally found a bathing suit...so now the rest is easy... we found the suitcases and the Birth Certificates so life is good ...
Now it is time to roll up the sleeves and get busy packing...
I need to go shopping today for the DH and we will be ready.

I can't believe there are snow flurries today in Minnesota !!

I've done way too much pre-trip shopping/spending. Now we are busily packing our suitcases. I have never mastered the art of packing light!

My 5 year old son is Blake . My 11 year old daughter is Clarissa. My husband is Kelton. I am Judy. We'll be in 5520. We are all very excited about the upcoming cruise. We are a disney-nuts family but have never been on a Disney cruise before.

Looking forward to meeting all of you. I don't have a Mickey-head paint chip thingy from Home Depot at all though. Don't think I have any lime green ribbon either. I've been emailing Julie (Dizprincess27) so I am hoping she will helps me connect with the rest of you. My daughter is looking forward to meeting Julie's daughter Raina. Which reminds me...

Hi, I'm Gary and we'll be taking our first Disney cruise on the Wonder on May 8th. I'll be traveling with wife Tamela and our son Nicholas (age 7). We've been to DisneyWorld many times but this will be our first Disney cruise.

We're very excited about the cruise but were disappointed when we received our docs to see that we had been assigned cabin 7134. This is in the rear of the ship and has a "solid wall" balcony instead of the plexiglass. We're just afraid that Nicholas won't be able to see a thing when he's on the balcony unless he stands on something or one of us holds him up.

Would anyone who's also on deck 7 that isn't traveling with a child be willing to trade cabins with us so we can have the plexiglass balcony?

Hey everyone; haven't checked in this thread in awhile, but I would echo the general mood of . . . can we board now or what? It's interesting around my house right now: my DD5 knows nothing of the trip (it's a surprise birthday excursion "just for her" for being such a great big sister -- we're leaving DD1 with the grandma's for this one, and besides, if she knew about the cruise she'd be driving us batty). My wife is cautiously eager -- this is the first time she'll be away from our little one for more than one night, and she's a little freaked out about leaving her. As for me, I'm chomping at the bit. Everything's packed, including the martini shaker and a bottle of Ketel One. Verandah and serene sunset, here I come.
