Okay, I'm going to try and wrap this trip up since it's getting harder and harder to find time to do this and remember what we did

Today is Wednesday, May 11th and this is the day we arrive in Cozumel, Mexico.
I'm not sure what time we got in, but we were able to see us dock since our cabin was on the dock side. There was a Caranival ship right next door and it's amazing how much bigger the Disney is. I got up early and walked the top deck, then twice around deck 4 before getting the rest of the family up. Since we didn't have an early excursion, there was no rush. We were able to get up and have breakfast at Topsiders and then get ready. We had booked the Catamaran, Beach & Snorkel through Disney. Now this excursion was a BLAST!! We met at the Buene Vista Theater then headed off the trip to the pier, where our catamaran's were waiting for us. After we boarded (we needed two), we headed out to an area for some snorkeling. Now they even say this isn't the best snorkeling in Cozumel, but for us, it was fine. The water was a little wavey, but definitely do-able. The girls really enjoyed themselves and took lots of pictures with their underwater cameras.
We were there for about 45 minutes (??) and then we headed out again towards the beach area we would hang out at for about an hour. Note: After snorkeling, they provide free beer, margaritas & water. The beach was beautiful and all for just us. DH & I went out in the kayak's they had provided and then we each took one of the girls for a little while. The girls enjoyed playing in the water and DH & I joined a volleyball game with fellow cruisers. We were having a blast and the hour went by quick. The way back, they put on party music and the kids were all up on deck dancing. We would definitely book this excursion again.
We headed back to the ship and got cleaned up in our Pirate outfits. I had bought black tshirts with pirate skulls on the front for all of us to wear. We were having dinner at Parrot Cay, which was perfect. Our menus were on scrolls and everyone got a red bandana. I didn't take a picture of our menu, so I don't remember what I had. I do remember ordering some sort of fish (I think it was the snapper) which was very hard and wasn't very good. They were quick to get me something different (I think it was chicken). The dessert was great as always. They brought out a mariachi band and had people doing the limbo (me & youngest DD included) After dinner, our oldest went her own way and we met up with the DISers to party. The Pirate party was a lot of fun, but after the fireworks, we headed to bed (after some ice cream of course
)
The next day was our Day at Sea and it was spent mostly around the adult pool area. The kids did their thing, so it was nice to just hang out and chat with people. This was our semi-formal night and we told the kids that they didn't need to have dinner with us. The oldest did her thing, but our youngest met up with us later and we enjoyed the Disney Dream show together. Another great production
Friday morning and we're docking at Cataway Cay. Was a beautiful day and a beautiful island. We wanted to get off the ship as soon as it was time, so a quick breakfast and we got in line with everyone else. We made our way almost to the end of the family beach and found two lounge chairs and two beach chairs for the kids right in front of the water jungle gym area. It was perfect!
I couldn't believe how quickly the day went. Me, DH & youngest DD rented bikes and did the trail early. That was a lot of fun. We had lunch later and then DH & I went over to the adult beach. I could have sat their all day
After an hour, we headed back and just hung out till about 4:00 when we bought some souviners and then headed back to the ship. Now I had done a lot of packing the night before, so I finished up as much as I could. We had our final dinner at AP, which was excellent. Since we haven't seen much of our children, I had to INSiST that they atleast have dinner with us
Again I'm not a huge beef eater, but I had the beef sirloin steak and it was SO good. I was really trying not to finish it, but it was hard. This was also the night of the baked alaskan, which I have never had and it was excellent. We gave our tips to our servers, said our good-byes to them and also our tablemate's and then headed out. I again did some packing and we had two bags already outside. I think I had all 4 of our bags outside by 9:00
We walked around, bought the last of our pictures at Shutter's, took some pictures and did last minute shopping.
Saturday morning we got up and left our cabin by 8:00am to head up to Topsider's for breakfast. We were off the ship by 8:30am, customs was nothing and then headed off to wait for our ride. DH had ordered a limo for the ride to our hotel by the airport, so that was nice. A bag got left behind, but Disney worked with DH and everything worked out fine. We were all so exhausted and were in bed by 8:00pm that night. Our 6:00am flight home was fine and I spent Sunday doing laundry
Okay, so here's my quick analysis of the trip:
Food was excellent for the most part. I think there was just one dinner that I wasn't impressed with, but everything else was great. Desserts were ALWAYS wonderful. Our servers were great too as were our tablemates. I'm not sure if everyone gets lucky to have such a great group as we did. The breakfast buffet at Topsiders was okay. Nothing special, but enough to get something into your tummy. Food at Pinocchio's was good too. Enjoyed the chicken fingers and boco burger. I know the girls ate their often. Ice cream at Scoops was always good
Entertainment was great and I only wish we had took advantage of more shows. I hated going to bed before 10:30 thinking of all the stuff we would be missing.
DH made a comment he would do another Disney cruise WITHOUT the kids in a heartbeat. I told him try explaining that to THEM
We want to do a WDW trip next, but I'm definitely leaning towards a cruise. It was expensive, but I think for the service, well worth it.
We made some great friends and made some great memories.
