I haven't posted since the 4th page in this thread. How things have changed for us. My wife will no longer be attending. We are expecting our third child in July and she just missed the cutoff. So that leaves myself and my daughter 6 and son 9 still going. She insisted I go because of the kids but I still have my reservations. I know this will be held against me. How couldn't it be. I know she does truly want me to take them though. My mind is crazy right now trying to plan a trip I know little about since I'm a first timer and because I'm starting over with having a baby and buying furniture and moving bedrooms around.
If I have passports, do I need birth certs. and the rest or is the passport all I need?
This is a pirate and princess or just pirate party?
How much for this tux rental and do they have it for the young boys? Money is limited due to the baby.
What time does the bus for the boat come to DVC properties?
I'm sure I'll have more questions as I'm packing stuff today and gathering our stuff
Thanks
Hi! Welcome back! Sorry about your wife

That sucks. She's a better person than I am... I would be SO disappointed if my DH was going on this cruise and I wasn't.
Maybe bring her back a small piece of jewelry from St Maarten and it'll be all good
I'm not a professional, since this is our 1st cruise - so I'm no help.
I just wanted to say HI and welcome back!
Nope. I've got stuff in piles and I've got at least one more run to CVS. Our schedule's so crazy I'll be packing that Thursday night before we get in the car early Friday to drive to FL. The good news though, is that at least according to all my lists, it shouldn't be too ridiculous.
Rusafee - at the end of the day, all you need are those papers and your passports. As long as you have those, you'll be fine.
Has anyone here prepaid their tips before? I like bringing cash but honestly at this point, that's just one more errand I'll unlikely have time for. I've read all you need to do is call
DCL but wanted to double check with you guys first.
Also, totally a random long shot question but does anyone else here crossfit? I was trying to come up with a few workouts for the cruise. Figured if I had a buddy it might be easier.
I pre-paid my tips for the same reason... I just wanted it taken care of before hand. My TA did all that for me, but I would guess it's probably as easy as just calling Disney and giving them your credit card info.
I don't use crossfit, but I am trying to lose weight before the trip (down 24 lbs!!). I also want to try and maintain all of the hard work I've done so far by working out in the gym with my DH in the mornings. If they don't offer classes that I am interested in (or at all) I will probably do my usual circuit training - 20 minute interval on the elliptical, and then sets of mt climbers, 8 count body builders, abs (hopefully they have the balls that you can sit and do abs on)and jump rope. You are welcome to join us if you want!
*** ETA: Just looked up what crossfit is

Looks intense. You may do better without me
With that being said, it looks like something that I want to aspire to get to. Right now my workouts consist of
M - 45 min Zumba/45 min Steps & Reps class
T - Off day
W - 1 hour Spinning class
Th - 1 hour Zumba/20 minutes interval training on elliptical
F - The circuits I mentioned above - Elliptical, jump rope, abs, mtn climbers, squats, etc etc
S - 1 hour Zumba
Sun - Off
