This is our 1st cruise also, and we have no kids so I'll be no help to you at all about any of that planning. Sorry!

But, I love to talk about planning and chat while we're waiting!

Have you planned any excursions or decided to make any spa/Palo reservations?

my sons are 3 1/2 and 14 months
my oldest will be turning 4 while we are the cruise
does anyone know anything if they do anything special for that? can i order a cake?

I havent scheduled any spa or dinner reservations yet, but i thought you couldnt do that till the 21st?

We can't book any yet. I just was curious who was planning on making any.

I am thinking we will make a Palo brunch ressie for one of our days at sea.

Fingers crossed there's still any available.

We are waiting on 21st too. Not sure yet what we will do yet....we made a list, but final decision will be on Saturday when my DH is off so we can sit ad discuss

May 12 - 11:00 & 11:30 am

Tea is available:
May 9 - 3:00 pm

Dinner reservations are taken for 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. Right now, the only times NOT available are:
May 8 - 8:00 pm
May 9 - 7:30 & 8:00 pm
May 11 - 6:30 & 8:00 pm
May 12 - 7:30 pm

I hope this helps anyone planning to make reservations on the 21st. I advise, if possible, to make your reservations online at 12:00am EST.

We plan on going to honeymoon beach in St. John and still trying to decide about St. Maarten where to go. Any suggestions for a good beach for my 7 and 11 year old boys?

I think there's a place online where you can make a note of the birthday on your reservation. If not, tell your head server and there will be a cake at some point.

Warning though, it may not come on the actual day of the birthday unless you actually work with the servers on that one. We were celebrating our anniversary on our last cruise and made the note in the online reservation. We got a cake the first night at dinner but our anniversary wasn't until the 3rd night. We didn't really care but the servers seemed to feel bad when our tablemates brought it to their attention. Apparently the computer just makes the note to bring the celebration cake on a random day through the cruise.

Yay !! We've finally paid off this cruise

This is us, my hubby Paul, and me, this was taken on the Disney Magic last October just before going into Palo for Brunch

We've managed to book Brunch and Dinner at Palo, and we'll hopefully get waitlisted for High Tea once we board

I'm here too - anxiously awaiting tonight! I really hope we are able to get Palo for brunch. If not, I'm sure we'll survive. We also finally decided on the full day sail and snorkel to turtle cove & honeymoon beach as our excursion on St Thomas! Finally!!! I get motion sickness and we decided that even though I would *probably* be fine with Capt'n Nautica on the speedboat that it wasn't worth risking it

Did everyone get what they wanted?

We got a ressie for Palo brunch on Thursday May 12th at 11:30! And we made our excursion reservation also! It's all exactly what we wanted.
