Did you get my PM?

Well, I finally made it to Old Navy today and spent WAAAAAY too much money  ..... :rolleyes1

I got a bunch of spring clothes that should be great for the cruise! :woohoo: No sundresses though.... they were weirdly shaped. But I did get 2 cardigans, 3 pretty tank/cami's for layering, 1 v-neck t-shirt, 1 3 quarter sleeved striped shirt, 2 gauzy flowy shirts and a jean skirt.

I think I have enough for the whole week just with what I bought today

 Hi there, I'm Mandy, and I am a Moderator over on the UK Community forums and I will be travelling with my hubby Paul. We put a deposit on a Cat 11B (GTY) yesterday, and we are hoping to be joining you in May (I won't believe it's happening till it's paid in full ;) )

This will be our 11th DCL Cruise, and our last one was an Eastern cruise over Halloween last year. I doubt we'll be doing any excursions, but we will be on the look out for any Hard Rock Cafes :) We always buy HRC t-shirts from wherever we visit

I'm hoping that there will be some Palo reservations available when we're paid in full, we love all the meals there, so I'm sure we will book some as soon as we embark

We may take part in the FE exchange, I will wait till closer to the cut off date because if the group is too large, we won't be able to take part due to our luggage allowance

Have a nice Sunday everyone, and I look forward to getting to know you all over the next few months ::yes::

Welcome aboard mandymouse. It's great how our group is growing nicely. :)

I have another question.....how many of you will dress up for Pirates Night? My kids got their costumes from friends, but me and DH will probably wear t-shirt and bandanas. How about Princesses? Will we have any Princesses on board from this group?

My DH and I have costumes but if it comes down to it and we don't have space in our luggage they will be the first things left behind. But, if we have space we plan to dress up for Pirate Night. Seems to us the more involved you are the more fun you will have.

This is exactly how my DH and I feel.

We have great costumes and want to dress up, but now I'm nervous about the amount of space my formal attire is going to take up....

Really thinking I may need those space saver bags now.

Here's a picture of our costumes from when we were in WDW last Halloween.

My DD has been wanting to go on the big boat for a year now. We decided not to tell her yet. We are going to videotape her reaction when we arrive at the port.

Can't Wait! :cool1:

We are doing the same thing. All we are telling my 4 year daughter is that we are going on vacation.

We actually told her we are going to a brocolli farm for vacation but that we might do something fun after that! First surprise will be stopping at Sea World for the day before the cruise (that is tops on her vacation wish list right now). Then driving over to port that evening but still not telling. In the morning we plan on giving her Minnie ears,a disney backpack, and a custom autograph book we got made up but plan on telling her we are not going to Disney World...this will really get her thinking.

Then we plan on going for a quick drive after breakfast to let the cat out of the bag! We couldn't be more excited. We did a 7 night carnival cruise last May and she had the absolute best time ever. I just hope she doesn't pass out!

We decided to have matching family pirate shirts for the evening. The kids will have extras with the shirts. DD has a pirate skull twirl skirt and ds has a pirate costume that he can wear the pants with his shirt. As far as I know the adults are just wearing the shirts with jeans and perhaps matching bandanas as well. :thumbsup2

Alas, my dd is past the dress like a princess phase. Oh well, one less thing I need to remember to pack I suppose.

Here is a photo of my boys on pirate night last year on the Wonder. The year before we were on the Magic for the Western Carribean and we all dressed up for pirate night. My husband and I had custom pirate mickey shirts. We saw quite a few people dressed up for pirate night.:yay: It was alot of fun.

No offense...but I just love your boys outfits :)

i'm still trying to figure it out how many magnets I want for our door. I'm doing this mostly for my kids and they want tons of pics LOL.

Thanks again Lexa. My boys clothes for the disney trip were made by ladies who add custom disney appliques to their shirts. They love the designs. The more magnets you make the more fun the door is. Magnets are also great fish extender gifts. We got several on our other cruises and some were personalized. I just loved those. I bought my fish extender holder for less then $5. Have fun making your magnets.:goodvibes
