Hi...I will clarify 
I suggested deck 10 on the side closest to the terminal building because if I said port side that means the left in nautical talk, even though the actual "port" happens to be on the right, and that would be REALLY confusing! Just wait until you are walking down one of those endless corridors on a stateroom deck trying to figure out which direction you are heading and struggling to remember which color on the anchor design on the carpeting points to the bow...is is blue for bow (front) or blue for "back" (stern). I always forget.
The party dance floor is on deck 9, but lots of people like to stand on deck 10overlooking it (plus you have an open air view there over the rail at sailaway time, rather than watching through the plexiglass walls on deck 9. Parents can keep your eyes on your kids down on the dance floor from deck 10. There are stairs there, so it's pretty easy to migrate up and down those two decks where the party is.
