I was just thinking the same thing!! But that might just be a good idea about making a friend who is going on the cruise to buy me one!!

Madison asked me when she could start making her next "how many days till we leave chain"!! I told her I didn't have enough paper or tape!
She has started her scrap book though. She has her cover page and her Jasmine layout done. Much more than I have. And I have not had a chance to work on my trip report in a few weeks. I can't believe how busy it is this time of year. I can't imagine having a "real job" right now.
Plus, Sunday is Father's day and Tuesday is my oldest DD's b-day, she is going to be 31 .
And next Saturday (23rd) is Madison's pre-school graduation not to mention a date that will go down in infamy. My younger DD is moving out!!! Oh, I have mixed feelings about this, she is moving in with her boyfriend, not getting married yet, but she has been my trial in life. She is 25 and for 24 years she has given me nothing but grief. My mil was a horrible person and Amanda has so much of her in her, it's almost spooky. She died when Amanda was 4 or 5 and we didn't see her that much any way because of the way she treated me and my two older kids. Plus she has diabetes and when she gets low she gets the most awful mood swings. Oh enough about that, that just leaves Jen and Madison at home. Jen was planning on moving out this summer, but a good girlfriend wants to share a place, so now they need to wait til November. They both make fairly good money at work, so they will be able to rent a good size house.
Well I have to run. Macy's is having a big sale and I was about to leave to buy Amanda and her BF a vacuum. I was talking Papa and he said, why don't I get the new vacuum for us and give them the old one!! He is good! And considering she is probably the one who lost all the attachments for the old one, it is only fair.
It was good to hear from you (Kim and Tracy) where is everyone else? I miss my Cinco dis Mayo family!!

we have been busy as well..i really need to get back into typing up my trip report and getting the pics online but i have soo much to do between now and the first week of july i dont see it happening till middle of july. hoping by some stoke of luck i might get some typing in tonite but as late as it is i dont see it happening.

I am trying patiently to wait for you all to finish your reports (where's the toe tapping icon?)
It has been really busy. Graduation was on the 2nd and it was such a nice ceremony. The only time I really choked up was the processional when I saw Ryan in his cap and gown! The ceremony was small and they had parents on stage to hand the diplomas to the grads. Ryan walked over, bowed to me, and handed me a long stem rose! Then gave me a huge hug. Ok, I guess there was two times I got choked up.
I got most of my scrap pages done and my neighbor (who does that professionally) is helping with the rest. I really miss the cruise! We had such a great time!

I hope everyone will keep posting here and keep us up to date on your families. I enjoyed meeting everyone!

HELP!!! Amber found the cd that KimberlyC made for the kids and amber is wanting to listen to it but some how it got some gunk on it and it only plays up till the last 2-3 songs on it. Would someone be willing to make another copy if i send them a cd?? please?? Amber is all disappointed that she can't listen to it now.

I will have to think of where I put Madison's. I had downloaded hers to her Fisher Price FPplayer, so we weren't using the cd.
My cd/dvd player disappeared off my new computer. I had to take it to service today so they could find it. The tech said it had something to do with Vista. I haven't posted more on my tr because I could not get pictures off the cds without a cd reader>@>!!! I have the next chapter done, I just need to post it and dig out pictures to go with it.
Thanks for the memories again Debbie!! We were off to see the dolphins!

ok i want to do a cruise like right now.. just wish i could aford it. i would love to do a week with just me and dh now. no kids. but dont see that ever happening. oh well.. hope everyone else is having a good summer so far..its been hot as all get out here..lower 90's..good thing i am on vacation next week. have a good second half of the week all.

oh awesome... those arent quite the same as the one i have but close enough. wonder if those were an older model?? i am debating grabbing one myself.. then i have one on hand if anyone does want one again..

might want to ask..ours has six propellers around the edges and that one has only 3..

Thanks for the note! This model does not play a song, it is the original model from the ship and was taken out & replaced with the song playing one when they renovated the staterooms.

so no yours wont play the song as it is the original model. can always record a song and play it when your alarm goes off..
