I'm hoping to get my hair cut tomorrow too! I keep chickening out though.

So close to vacation and DS got rear ended in the company work truck on the freeway today. He's ok...but what a pain! And DH....well, he got a ticket this morning for following to close, so tomorrow I'll be on the phones with the court because the officer put the wrong date to report on the ticket.

So as Karen said...everyone be safe.

Hey everyone....packing and shoppping like crazy here in Jersey!!!! tonite, I get my roots done.....well, umm, since you all are meeting me for the first time, I will let you know now....yes, my haircolor is not real! LOL!!!!! I think for our cruise, my haircolor will be light brown with blond highlights....unless I change my mind between now and tonite!!!!

tomorrow, I am going to try one of those spray tans.....nothing dark, just some light color, so I don't scare anyone with my white legs!!! I hope it does not come out blotchy!!!!

Cannot believe we leave on Thursday!!!!

DS passport arrived yesterday via FedEx. So he is excited because now he gets to go. I now have all my important documents and have them placed in one places so I don't end up looking all over the house for them before we leave Thursday. I have my DD and DS bags packed and have to get my done. I usually don't pack for my DH but he hasn't done anything yet. I guess if he doesn't have it then it is his fault and can't blame me.

Just for clarification when are and where are we to meet?? I still got to put my children goodie bag togeather that might be tonight while I am watching American Idol.... Oh yeah I got to set up my PVR to record all the shows I will be missing so when I get home I can have lots to watch.

3 more work days, can't stand it but gotta do it..see ya on the boat!

I just got done unsubscribing to all my threads here (538!) so mt email doesn't get jammed full while we're gone!

We are meeting in the Promenade lounge Deck 3 at 3:15pm. I'm going to try and get there around 3pm so any early arrivals can get started meeting. We have a big group of Disers this year!

I bet your son is so relieved his passport came!

MBW...yeah...I did my roots yesterday. Trying to get the courage to get my hair cut today. It's almost to mid back length. Every time I decide to get it cut I have a good hair day and change my mind!

i see we are busy busy busy...my day at work is rough today..go figure. but i will finish packing tonite..i did load up some of the oddball stuff that was already packed and ready to go into the van.. now that we are on a regular schedule i can get back on track with what needs to be done..between me and dh we managed to get all the cleaning caught up yesterday so right now he only needs to mow the lawn one more time if it doesnt rain before we leave. we wont get to head out though till after 11 am thursday so i will do my bills before i leave that morning and wont have to lug my laptop with me..yeah..

pppiglet i am planning on being at the meet at roughly 3pm as well.

have a good day all..will check in after work..and whoever the last one is to leave can you turn the lights out on our board on the way out...

Hair stuff: yep, got my hair colored and cut last week, although wish I hadn't got it cut....it was at that point the pppiglet was talking about: having a good hair day...I shouldn't have messed with it, but then thought "after another week, it will be unmanageable". (sigh)
Glad to hear your son is ok pppiglet.

Madisonznana, I was kidding about the name, I certainly don't expect anyone to remember names, because I certainly won't! I am good with faces though...so if I see you around the ship during the week, I will wave and chat, but probably won't say your name right away.

A week from today we will all be in Grand Caymen!

I will probabley be the last out so I guess I will turn the lights out. We leave Friday morning. I got an offer for a better commission so I switched jobs yesterday and am very nervous and scared. You know how you get comfy somewhere and even if it's not the best job, you are still in a comfort zone? Thats me, so I hope I made the right decision. Anyway, hope everyone is packed and keeps safe on the way. Karen-I drive a crew cab diesel everyday! You will be fine!

I am getting my hair weaved or woven or dyed a few colors today along with my cut. Glad to know we are all gonna look fab! Sorry, but I did not do good on trying to tan and I don't have time to get sprayed, so I will have pearly white, chunky legs, so you can really see them!
Madison is so darned excited right now! She can't talk about anything but "her" cruise.
I am going to try to unsub my threads, if I can't figure it out, I may be back asking for directions Debbie.
Well gotta clean up before I start today's errands. Bye for now.

umm amber is only 4 but she has the attitude of a 9 yr old does that count ??

tomorrow is busy for us..i have work (giving refresher to my replacement so should be afairly boring day) , then amber has swim lessons, and i am packing the van up.. since i am getting up earlier on thursday it should be an easy day since i can take my time from 7 - noon doing things..lol

Ok now i am sressing, I am no where near starting to pack have 3 lods of summer stuff to wash that i probably dont need with all of the new stuff.

Formal wear wont fit in the garment bag , how do all of you transport suits and dresses?

I didnt buy any gifts for all of the kids I am shamed by that, it has been hard enough remembering every thing we need maybe when we get to florida i can grab somethings at somewhere near the radison

Our suits and dresses are folded into our 5th luggage. If they are real bad when we get there I will send them out with our room steward to be pressed.

The weather has been overcast, so no tanning here lately. I was doing so good too.

Didn't get my hair cut today either....GF came and took me for pizza for lunch. Darn...I should have stayed home and had my yogurt!

It's our 25th anniversary today, and we weren't going to go out for dinner seeing as we will be eating all that food on the ship and WDW, but someone sent us gift certs in the mail today for sushi, so guess we'll go out and enjoy! (not much sushi on the ship!)

Sherrie...I didn't get bags of stuff for the kids either. Since I haven't worked since February, I didn't think I should spend DH's money! I did have some small buttons made in DIS green that say Cinco Dis Mayo Cruise and the date that I will pass out to them. And about 20-30 extra for at least one parent of each family. (I figured the guys would care less about them, but we women could wear them). I think the kids will have plenty with what has been posted and you shouldn't worry about it!

Dont' worry.....I, too, have not bought anything for the kids either....I might try to pick something up before we leave or when in florida,....but if i don't get to it....I am sssoooo sorry!!!!!! I am barely remembering the things that I have to bring for myself and family!!!!

as for our dressy clothign, we pack them in hanigng garment bags....but I still think that I will have to send them out to be pressed.

ok thanks all for setting my mind at ease about the gifts we are stopping for cases of beer and water so I will see what they have.

I am thinking I might have to put the dress clothes in a duffel and have them cleaned or ironed as katies formal night is long and poofy. Maybe just her dress and the tux and my dresses will fit in the garment bag. good idea glad I thought of it. lol writing your thoughts out really does help solve probs. sometimes.

2 more nights then bed to get ready to go, Where did the time go. I booked over a year ago and thought this day would never get here. Thanks to all of you for helping pass my time.
