OMG!!!!!! DCL just called and upgraded us to a CAT 4 room on Deck 8! I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I was looking forward to special verandah 7620 being close to the laundry, but for no charge and a bigger room, I guess we will take it!

ok found the psot with the chart with the break down of kids and such it is post 1197 posted by kimberlyC...i took a stab and picked a page and on the first one i got it...lol..pretty bad when i was going page by page at home and couldnt find it but take a guess and it is the correct one not completely updated but we can add those who have been added ourselves..i think all the names itself are on though at least it looks like it.

My TA just sent me an email. It seems she didn't get my docs till today. She put them in the mail and said they would be here in 2-3 days. I guess I'll keep waiting. Hopefully they come before the weekend.

I forgot to tell everyone...I called to find out what movies would be playing. Here is a list of what they think so far:

ok i did a count a head count on the kids and so far i counted 27 kids including the teens and 23 kids ages 12 on down...so i did stop by family dollar to pick up an extra pack of stuff ( boy ones this time instead of all girly stuff) to make up 6 more bags. Also for the teens (including the 12 yr old if they prefer the teen things over the kiddie type stuff ) i am going to get them each an address book and pen so they have something to write everyones snail mail address, email addresses and such down in. the thought just came to me on my way home from work today that boy teens wouldnt mind something like that. or would they?

I only hope we don't have a bunch of repeat stuff, for instance I know I got glow necklaces and so did Kim? Maybe we should know what everyone got so we can exchange if there is duplicates? I can return the necklaces and get something else. I got tatooes and little noisemakers (hey, they aren't my kids. ) and of course the glow necklaces. Plus I was going to add in candy, but getting that in Florida. Unless you don't think the kids would mind getting a bunch of the same stuff? For the teens, I have bandanas (even though they will get them on Pirate night, these are more for other times) and I was going to get one other thing, just haven't thought of it yet.

Maybe if the kids get duplicates they can share with other kids they meet in the kids clubs, or any extra kids that aren't on the green list that show up to the meet.

umm we gained 3-4 kids just this past week or so on the lists. in my bags i have homemade mickey hands with the date of the cruise and i wrote ohio on them so it will be a souvineer from ohio as well, disney little frisbie, and a disney princess pencil (some have batman since i couldnt find any disney ones locally today)..i have enough for 30 kids now and if need be i have enough stuff to make up 7 more bags..after that i am out of mickey hands and don't have the time nor any more of the supplies to make more of those. although i may give the teens a mickey hand as well in case they would like to add it to a scrap book. the teens i am going to get each a small address book and a pen. and as far a duplicates..the glow necklaces i dont think are a big deal for a duplicate. heck my kid don't care if she has more then one of an item... so i say no biggie...although the candy idea watch out..i can bring candy bars for your teen and send him back to you...or wait maybe a moutain dew will work better... i decided against the candy in my bags as i know the kids will be hyper enough without adding that to the mix although i might add a bag of snacks like cookies or something like that.

I got the kids these yo yo spaghetti type balls that attach to your finger and light up. Kind of hard to describe, but I have never seen a kid that doesn't like them.

We still haven't told Kyle and Kailey we are going yet. I just hope we don't get caught. We keep talking in code about the trip and taking a few clothes downstairs nightly. There is so much I need to bring!

wow your good..we could never keep it from the kids for that long..when do you plan on actually telling them and how are you going to tell them?

i told amber last nite that in 7 days we will be heading to that big boat with mickey and minnie on it and she was like really?? shes been helping me pack and get things organized. keeps her entertained as well..she was not liking that she don't get to do the yak room at the ymca for a few weeks so i used the vacation to sidetrack her so i could get out of there without her thinking about it. but next week at this time we will be getting ready to pile in our van and start to drive down to florida...

Yesterday I recieved only 1 passport in the mail. So I told my children who's ever passport they get to go and the other one has to stay home with grandma and grandpa. So they opened it and my DS hoped it was his because it is birthday cruise. But it was my DD passport. YIKES he just started crying because he thought he wouldn't get to gon on the boat. I did end up calling the passport agency yesterday and they said they would be rushing his through so I should have his my monday. I did let him know that he still gets to go on the cruise.

Excited 1 week I will be headed down to Salt Lake for an early friday plane ride....

getting closes hauled down to grandma chris room and getting ready to pack. Starting to think I should go and purchase another suitcase for the trip. Can't have to many suitcases???

And about those suitcases....I had to go buy another one. So for the 3 of us we are taking 5 large duffel type roller bags that flatten down nicely to store under the bed. Does this sound average? Anyone else taking major loads of luggage?

Well, I am going to pull Kyle out of school early on Friday. He will actually be upset because they are having some really fun Splashmania day there that he is really looking forward to. I am going to tell him we have to meet Jason and take him to the airport for business. Then, when we get to the airport, we will tell them that everyone is going on a surprise trip. We fly into Dallas first, so they won't know anything at that point. But, when we fly into Orlando they will obviously "know" they are going to Disneyworld and be so excited. Kyle has already been 4 times and Kailey has been 3 times. We are going to stay at the Sheraton by the airport that night and wake up in the morning to drive in to what they think will be Disneyworld . Of course, then we will drive up to the boat and I am sure they will freak out

So that will only be the first surprise. We will go through the whole cruise and then stand in line to get on the buses back to the "airport", but we will really be going to Disneyworld

I am going to have so much fun watching this play out

well we have one suitcase per person plus our garment bag so thats 5 there..plus one carry on per person and a small roller suitcase full of bottled water plus i am having our overnite bags(2 of those) set-up as a checked luggage so we will end up with 7 checked luggage and probably 5-6 carry ons.
this is slightly more then we normally pack for a vacation but we wanted extra bags for souvineers so that will give us at least 3-4 empties when the water and pop are gone and the overnbites are condenced back into the regular suitcases. oh and i have one carry-on alone for the baggies for the kids..


ah that poor boy ..breaking his heart...we received ours like 2 one day and the other 2 a day or so later when we got our passports.

i am stopping to pick up the address books after work today..i read thru one of the trip reports and they did name tags and took a group pic..not worried about name tags per say but with our group i counted roughly 20 families meeting for the meet and greet so hopefully we can get a group pic of all of us for our scrapbooks. i guess i should get back to work..today is going very slow today..i knew once we hit single digits for our count down it would startt feeling like forever but today is just bad when its 7 days out and not like 1 day out
