May 5, 2012 Fantasy

I'm starting to think about Dining Options etc. Does anyone know the rotation? But probably more importantly which nights will be Pirate Night and Formal nights? When I went on 4 night Dream, Pirate night was the night of Castaway. Is this always the case?

Paul

Let me know if/when you change as I tried to book Palo and it's full throughout. Should I wait list????

No wait list on Internet. But if you go on the disney cruise line, in your planning center, you could find somes avaibilities for Palo at the first day, 7h30 pm. I should take my decision at the end of the next week.

Pirate party is day 4, St-Maarten night.

I will take another look at Palo - There was nothing available any night when I looked a couple of days ago, just shows how things change.

How do you know/how did you find out about Pirate Night? Is it listed in the planner? (Sorry if this is a dumb question, I've had so much to do since booking earlier this week I haven't looked thoroughly at anything much yet).

Well I have spent all morning (literally - and remember I am in the UK so it's 14:15 here now) reading everything in this thread so apologies for my earlier questions, I now feel totally up to date :)

So as I only booked this week (in the same way I did for my Jan 2012 cruise) I am not expecting my tickets for a week or two. I also didn't receive my cabin assignment until after receiving my tickets as I had to hand write my cabin on the baggage tags. I think I got the cabin assignment about 10 days before cruising last time.

Double checked Palo throughout the cruise, nothing available. I will go to the res desk when I get on board I think.

We leave in 19 days to drive down. ::MickeyMo

5 nights at WDW then on the cruise. almost all packed and ready to go!!

Is it possible to get on the Fish Extender list?

This is our first trip to disney and our first cruise. Working on some door magnets tonight if anyone has any recommendations!!

More fellow Canadians :) We're staying 5 days before at WDW as well. Have a safe drive!

Yippee!! WDW and cruising, this will be a mega birthday! Anyone else celebrating special events?

It's my 40th and my Dad's 65th, DS 14th...I sense a lot of cake :)

Wanted to let you all know that I cancelled a Palo Brunch for 2 people for Sunday. Hopefully someone here can use it. :goodvibes

Thanks Danielle. I think we snatched up your cancellation!

Has anyone heard if there will be a Welcome show and Farewell show in the WD Theater on the first and last nights? I heard a rumor that those shows are in the works, but not ready for the public yet???:confused3

Please let me know names and ages of children (if any) and your stateroom number. You will be in Group 2.

I'd like to make an open offer to all my cruising companions. I am a keen, certified, Photographer and will have my photography kit with me on the next cruise. If anyone would like me to take their photo, either solo or as a group please let me know. I would be more than happy meet up with you and to take you pics onboard (I might be a bit pushed for time on shore days). Any photos I take are yours, no charge, and I will release all rights to you for further printing etc.

Please do keep in mind that I won't have flash equipment or constructed backdrops that the onboard photographers have, but the ship is full of wonderful backdrops and I can work with most lighting, even dim interior lights if you can keep still enough :)

So if you fancy having some pics done without the cost of the onboard Photopass do let me know - Once onboard you can contact me via Wave phone or leave me a message in my FE and time allowing I will happily meet you. If you do want your pics taken anywhere specific be sure to let me know.

I'll repeat this offer as we get nearer the cruise. Here are a couple of portraits I have taken recently and I have just started posting in the DCL picture of the day for some of the cruise ship picture, the latter of which were all taken with my 'toy' camera, a Canon Point and Shoot.

That's a very kind offer! :goodvibes I will have to see if there are any days that I actually might look decent, as I am not very photogenic :sad2: BTW my Mum's side of the family are all from your neck of the woods. :thumbsup2 She is from Tipton (now lives in Essex) and my Granny lived in Great Barr for many years.

We are REALLY getting close! My friends that were on the MV came back and LOVED it! They said it was even better than the Dream last year, and it was so good that they have booked another cruise for next year on the Fantasy. Makes me even MORE excited!! :yay::banana:
