Cruise docs came!!!!! I am so doing the happy dance. 19 days to go till we are at WDW!!!

It is finally starting to feel real...perhaps because I've talked to a couple of friends who were on the MV. I've been able to confirm that the theater team is the best, and some of my favorite CMs are in other positions on the ship.

Best of all is that DD has no Friday final and will finish her semester at 9:15pm on Thursday. This means that we can arrive in Orlando at a decent hour, and I was able to change our flights today (don't you love SW?) And due to their special this week, there was no fare increase. I was dreading an after midnight arrival.....gonna keep our Hyatt reservations and consider it a splurge for the convenience. We did get a great rate.

The photo offer sounds amazing! I suspect my young adult DD will take you up on it.

Other comments from my friends--the ship is amazing, incredible, etc. Much that was less than perfect on the Dream has been perfected for the Fantasy. One person had a great dining experience and praised the training of the new CMs, the other had a sub-optimal experience but was able to rectify it after consultation with one of the head servers. The main comments seemed to be that a lot of the "bumps" from the Dream opening were not repeated.

So glad that you finally got them!! Under 20 days for your countdown means the time is going to fly by!!

This has to be such a nice relief to know that you will be able to get there at a decent hour and your trip will start off that much calmer! It is so good to hear all the positive feedback coming from MV cruisers - I agree it just makes me more excited!

Looking forward to the first Eastern itinerary reports in a couple of weeks!

Got my Cruise docs via FEDEX yesterday Still no cabin assignment as yet but I'm not that fussed about it - Whatever cabin I get will be fine, the only thing I hope I don't get is the rear cabin by the flag pole (Flapping flags are noisy).

Does anyone know how you get access to the Spa area? It doesn't seem to be a pre bookable option, but as I understand you can just pay to use the Spa (rather than having any specific treatments).

Hi, everyone on this thread! Just now found this place and have a couple of questions...do any of you have any teens cruising with you? I have a 17 year old son that sure hopes he's not the only teen aboard. He is homeschooled by me, so he is free to cruise anytime we are.

We (myself, DH and our son) are so excited to be on this Fantasy cruise. We have cruised once on the Wonder and it was only 3 days, which we found out is NOT enough time to enjoy the ship. Will there be a DIS meet on this cruise?

We are tentatively having our DisMeet on the first sea day (Sunday) at 2pm. We'll meet by the chair near the Bon Voyage bar just off the atrium.

You can get buy a pass directly from the Spa I believe. I think you can either buy by the day, or several days depending on what you think you will use.

This refers to the rainforest room. You can purchase single day day passes on line or on board; multi-day and couples passes are on board only. (Note--a couple can be any 2 adults).

I know. That's what I booked - I've been waiting months for it too

I did scan the rest of the room types to see how many cabins were left and there were only a few seemingly available.

Although personally I would prefer the ship to be a little quieter.

Interesting, I dont' ever think to check that stuff. Our 7/5 sailing on the Dream last year was full but we honestly didn't think it was that bad as far as "feeling full", here's to hoping this cruise has a nice relaxed feel about it if it isn't quite so packed.

3 weeks today we will be in the MK I can smell those funnel cakes already.
