Anyone get their cruise docs yet? Should we be looking for them soon?

Our TA said that we will have our docs 2 weeks prior to our trip. I wonder why it is that close to our trip. We are doing a week at the world prior to the cruise.
I will know it is getting close when we get our docs.

Interesting...my Dad got his docs and I didn't receive mine...we're staying a week ahead as well, could be that we're international??

We also don't have our docs yet, but when I logged on Monday we do have our flights through Disney so I know it's getting closer! I've got a bag of stuff accumulating in my office, but no official packing yet. Still have a decent sized list of things that need to be taken care of. I'm hoping to get some of those crossed off this weekend.

Wow, you start early! I am still trying to get my taxes done.

Will we get to meet you on the cruise? Or do you go incognito?

True confessions--if I'm looking at a winter cruise I store my cruise clothing (summer stuff) in a suitcase. That's easier than trying to remember where I put it!

Of course I'll be around on the cruise. If it were the Magic, I'd be the one in the Cove area giving dirty looks to the kids walking thru. However, on the Fantasy, I'll probably be the fat old lady on the AquaDuck....and exploring the ship. Talked to a friend yesterday who had done one of the publicity cruises. He said she is "A really beautiful ship, in many ways nicer than the Dream." He couldn't confirm if any of the crew I asked about was there. Oh well, guess I'll find out.

So glad that the cruise docs are arriving for some of you! I'm not sure if ours will go to the TA first or straight to us, it's happened both ways with the same TA so it's 50/50.

With the Maiden Voyage starting tomorrow it's definitely time for us to get excited (well, more excited than we were already! ) The reviews just keep getting better and better - I can't wait to see it for myself!

I've been trying to keep up with the threads on servers etc but I'm still not sure if our requested server will be onboard or not. Hmm...should have asked our friends that are on the MV to ask!! Duhhh!!

Of course NONE of this will matter as I stand on deck, drink in hand and breeze in my face!

I tried to keep the number of adults and children as equal as possible. Families with 2 staterooms have been broken up so you're not buying gifts for your own family

Wow, I am excited to see so many of you all will be there! I am not participating in the FE but I want to wish you all a great time! Maybe our paths will cross. I will be in a party of 14 with one in a wheelchair and 2 toddlers 16 and 18 months so me may or may not stand out in the crowd! 8 adults and 6 kids at least we are not out numbered!

I am going to start setting out my clothes next week so access if I have enough!

I'll be the other fat lady on the Aquaduck! We have a check in time of 11 so I hope to be on there early! But I may have to do lunch first with hungry toddlers!

I hope to make it to serenity falls one day and the adult pool.

We are all over that! On the Magic we all met up in the lounge beside Animators right after the Sail Away celebration

10 on the first sea day may conflict with the DVC members celebration, platinum experience, and possibly people preparing for Palo brunch. I'm not saying to not do it then--just that there may be conflicts.

I think you are right that embarkation day isn't a good idea for THIS cruise--we'll all be off exploring. I may be exploring the whole week. DD has informed me that I'll be exploring the Duck as soon as we board-that's rare. That was a higher priority than trying to find a couple of our friends!

We are doing brunch that first sea day, but since we definitely won't be eating breakfast we should have plenty of time to get ready early and meet at 10.

A note to Group 2 FE: I made my mom's FE with two pockets even though it's just her. Thought it would look weird with only one and didn't really want to advertise she's in there by herself. Just didn't want people to get confused and think they were short a gift or something.

Waiting anxiously for our cruise docs this week... If I didn't have to work I would probably just be staring out the door waiting for a delivery, so I guess it's a good thing I'm not home.
