Welcome! What a great cruise to pick for your first one!

We had our first cruise in November 2010, so we are not seasoned cruisers ourselves, but our first was on the Magic and then we sailed on the Dream last July - it was so cool to be on the sparkling new ship! I can imagine that the Fantasy will be just as beautiful and just as sparkling new - I can't wait!!

I am working today and am meandering through the DIS boards to help offset boredom

About 100 miles south in Commerce Township. We travel up that way a couple times a year to visit Frankenmuth and the Birtch Run outlets!!

Wow...sorry about all of this. I'm new to forums and just figuring it all out.

OK so I don't have the stateroom yet but there are 6 of us in our family. For FE do we just do the kids (b/c for us, the kids are the reason I'm doing this. They will be so excited). We have 4 DD:
Arleigh 5
Kennedy 4
Trevi 3
Brylee 1

I'll get you our stateroom as soon as I find out.

Ok I found my room number 4D 6610. Oh and I think I'll keep it to my 4 DD. It was too difficult to find a FE with more pockets. Thanks again for organizing!

This is my first time coordinating one of these (participated in one last year) but I'm thinking maybe we should divide this? What do you ya'll think?

I realize that we have not signed up for the FE, but I thought I would give my own history with FEs We participated in 1 on our first cruise. The list was at 28 and I think I remember that a couple of others squeezed in right at the end, so it went to 31. I completely understand that everyone has their own interpretation of what is doable, but that was overwhelming to me. I had to ship all my gifts there, and then had to ship all of the stuff we got back home I'm not giving an opinion on this FE one way or the other, just thought I'd share my own experience as a rookie FE participant.

That sounds doable. I will admit that the previous post made me nervous. I really don't want to have to ship things to and from the ship.

40 people does sound like a lot if you're doing individual gifts. Splitting it up might be a good idea. Maybe into 3? That would keep room for a few more to join and be about 15 people each group. I don't know, just a thought.

Our excursion and reservation date is coming up soon, I still need to decide on a St John's trip. Stupid work! It's interfering with my vacation planning.

Welcome!!! I am organizing the FE list. I'll need names of everyone, and ages of children, also your stateroom #'s. I will be updating the list soon splitting it into smaller, more manageable groups.
