We're also doing a pre-trip stay at WDW before the cruise  We are at the Contemporary, never stayed there before so looking forward to checking it out. :thumbsup2

I did a bit of browsing on excursions again today, I'm still undecided, probably will be up until it's time to book. :surfweb:

I keep reading these posts about pre-cruise WDW stays. Am I the only one doing a post-cruise stay? We are at the Polynesian from the 12 until the 18th.

Our first cruise we did a week pre-cruise stay at BWV and we were all SO sad to get off of the ship!! Then our 2nd one we did a week pre-cruise at AKL, plus a couple nights post-cruise at the Poly and that eased the blow of getting off of the ship a bit.

We decided that this time we wanted to do WDW after and surprise the girls. Trying to decided if we should spring the surprise on them during the last breakfast or if we should just drive to WDW with them thinking that we are really driving home, and see how long it takes them to realize what is going on.

We are doing both! :goodvibes Contemporary before for 2 nights and Boardwalk after for 3 nights. Never done the Flower & Garden and so I want to stroll around Epcot when we get back.

It definitely eases the pain of getting off the ship - I say surprise them at breakfast so that they have longer to be excited! :cool1:

May is our favorite time to go, so it always feels weird when we are there and F&G isn't going on! If you like taking pictures, it is a wonderful time to be there!

Since you are in favor of surprising them at breakfast, do you have any suggestions on how to do it, LOL?? The girls are 9 & 7. :)

Very cool...right next door! I believe they share the same pool! Are you traveling with kids?? It will be myself, my wife Kate and our just turned 4 year old son Matt.

No kids for us, just DH and I along with my parents. I do LOVE little ones though. I nanny for my two nephews and the older one is about the same age as your son. We're also going to WDW in January (with the WHOLE family, no cruise though) and I cannot wait to see how excited my nephew is. I'm sure your son is going to have a BLAST!

Hmmm....I'm not sure I can come with anything great bcz we don't have kids :lmao: How about making ressies at their favorite restaurant at WDW, print out the menu before you leave for the cruise and then at breakfast tell them that they need to figure out what they want for dinner/lunch and hand them the menu. :goodvibes Maybe that only appeals to those of us that live to eat! :rotfl2:

Looks like Kate's next career will not be in corp america but she'll focus on being the best stay at home Mom ever:dance3::yay::banana:

We switched to the family stateroom - room #11000:thumbsup2

Can't wait!!

OK, now that we are back from our December Magic cruise, I can start thinking about our next cruise. We've been booked since day 1, but I need to think about them one at a time.

I'm cruising with my soon-to-be 21 year old daughter. We're cruise veterans; started on the maiden voyage of the Magic. She likes to tell people that she had done more cruises than she is years old.

More later.

Welcome!! Glad to have veteran to help answer question and give tips! Starting to get anxious now...hurry up April!!! WDW for a week before the cruise, wanna see if the relaxation of the cruise is better AFTER a crazy week at the World LOL.

How do we sign up for the fish extenders?

Send My wife who is Kristieseem1 a pm with your stateroom # and with the ages of who is in your stateroom...

And names of everyone too, please :)

Edited: Just noticed that you won't be able to PM me since you don't have enough posts. Just reply here with your info. Thanks!

I don't have enough posts to be able to send a direct message to you Kristie. My mom's cabin is #7531 and she's Emilie. I think you already have our info, but just in case #8566 Diane and Brad. No kiddos in either.

Has anyone been to the Eastern Caribbean before? I'm trying to decide on excursions. :boat:

Only 4 months from today!!!

Happy 2012 everyone! :banana::cheer2:

Now that we've officially turned the corner and the holidays are behind us :goodvibes I am beginning to seriously mull over the excursions. Need to go online and look and see what the DCL excursions are and then do some online research. I have a love/hate relationship with excursions as I'm always wondering if I'm picking the right one!! :rolleyes1

Anyone else pondering/deciding on excursions?? :confused3

Hi there,

I don't have my stateroom number yet.

We have 4 DD
5, 4, 3 and 1 year old. Is that all you need? (besides the staterooms?)
