I like Lyn's idea as well......May-tees is kind of catchy.

I am doing T-shirts for our little group. We have been referring to this adventure as the "Gilligan's Love Boat" Cruise since we began planning it. I of course have been assigned the "Julie" character as I am the official cruise director for our group. We are planning several fun themes of our very own like hawaiian shirt night and fancy hat night. So, if you see a group of six silly women running around the ship in silly hats, you know it is us!!

OMG......... I just checked my reservation and my room has been assigned for a guarantee!!!!!!!!!! I am now in Stateroom 7503. I was hoping to get the 7th deck. No upgrade, but very happy

We were across the hall in 7504 on our May 2006 cruise. We were very pleased with the location. Quiet, very little traffic, and pretty convenient to everything. A bit of a hike to the "secret" verandah on the 7th deck - but it gave me a way to work off some of the wine calories.

We are down the hall a bit this cruise (7594). We also want the 7th deck. I'm hoping this trip will be equally as enjoyable.

I actually had ZERO ideas for a name, but just took Lyn's, Kym's and Jodie's idea and pasted them together!!!!!!! So, kudos to you ladies

Thanks for the suggestion, Timster! I mentioned in an earlier post that your sense of humor sounds like my husband's; you are also like him in your sleeping preferences---he doesn't do mornings too well either. I almost booked the same short excursion you're on, but the 1/2 day is only a half an hour longer and since it starts at 10:00, it ends earlier leaving us more time for the Turtle Farm (theoretically). I'm thinking that maybe we can do it if we take cabs instead of busses. I'll probably email my TA and see what she thinks!

CruisinEars, I kinda like the May Magic thing. I'm tossing around something in my head that uses a "May Day" idea, considering it's such a state of emergency for many of us to take a cruise vacation and SOON!

Bobbi, what time are you guys getting to Port Canaveral on the 3rd? I think we're gonna fly in that morning, but dont wanna get there too early/late. Plus I'm thinking our boys can keep each other occupied.

Our boys can definitely have some fun at the port. There's TV and stuff to do. I replied to your email with all our details, so we'll see what you decide! Let's get together sometime soon

Oh yeah, you guys got some serious snow!! As did my New England side of the family. Down here, just a hair south of the Mason-Dixon, we don't get major snowfalls all that often, but we fairly regularly get encased in ice! We got enough of a coating of frozen stuff yesterday to close down all the schools, but at least I didn't have to shovel!

We have had one of the snowiest (is that a word bobbi? ) winters yet. And, it happens to be our first year of living in our own home, we used to live in a condo in the city... and let me tell you, I am not a fan of shoveling! Or, mowing for that matter.

But, we get regular ice and snow... it is Canada after all, but many find that it is worse this year than most years. Today, it is beautiful and sunny out, I like these kinds of winter days... we are going to a winter carnival, that we have never been to before. But, I'm still looking forward to CC!

Here in Asheville it was cold, damp, rainy and FOGGY!!! We had an ice storm warning, but luckily due to lots of prayers from all the group home employees (we in the group home field hate snow days because the kids need to go to school!) we did not get any ice.

Today it is beautifully sunny and much warmer. Lisa and I are going to Biltmore, just to walk around the grounds....we have annual passes and it is the most beautiful place in town to go for a long walk.

Still, I am counting the days to my Castaway Cay experience.....and all the others that will come before it on the cruise.
