May 31, 2014 Fantasy Eastern Caribbean Meet thread!

You have a Nova Scotia Duck Toller? My husband and I seriously considered one, but the only breeders we could find "near" us were in Minnesota or Michigan! (We live in Kansas)

Totally worth the drive. We got our NSDT from South Dakota when we lived in Oklahoma. They are super smart, obedient and loyal. Breeders will fly them cargo to you as well. Bristow, our duck toller has been an ideal family pet & never been a problem with any of our kids. I probably will never get another breed.

I will have to tell my husband. We were thinking German Shorthaired Pointer. I was pushing Brittany. But would love to have a Toller. As of now, we are looking at getting a dog in the fall.

I'll have to let my husband know. We have been thinking about a German Shorthair Pointer. I was pushing for a Brittany. Hoping to get a dog this fall.

I know they have a pirate night but how many formal nights are there? What is the dress attire for the other nights?

I know they have a pirate night but how many formal nights are there? What is the dress attire for the other nights?

They've changed the dress code significantly. Dressing up is optional at the MDR's. So there will be one formal night. I believe it's the second night. However, with the change to the dress code I'm sure you'll still see shorts and t-shirts mixed in with those who dressed up.

Any idea what night will be pirate night, formal or semi formal nights yet? I would like to book Remy and Palo, but do not want to do so on formal night.

Night of first sea day, so second night, I think is formal night. Pirate night is supposed to be the night we're in St Maarten. Can't remember on semi formal night.

We are taking this cruise to celebrate my daughters graduation from high school. Hubby is staying home with other younger daughter and cat/dogs. So it will be a mother/daughter trip. We are so excited! Just the girls! Woohoo! But if by some chance my daughter wants to hang with cruisers her own age (you know she will) are there any meet and greets for the 18-20 crowd set up yet?

You are going to have so much fun, how wonderful to just have a girls trip :)
I haven't seen mention of an 18-20s meet yet and sadly I am too old for one ;)
Have you checked out the Facebook group for this cruise, not sure if there is anything listed on there?

I believe it is the first post of this thread that has the instructions for joining the Facebook group. You friend Jason Rader from Atlanta, GA and include a message that you are sailing the May 31 Fantasy. Hope that helps!
