Just wanted to re-ask...is anyone else going to Chankanaab in Cozumel? We have the Dolphin Encounter scheduled for 1:00 but plan to get to the park by 10:30 to walk around and stuff, eat a little etc. Of course this is dependant on the weather.

If you want the 11 to save money, call them now and they'll change it.

There is a fee now to make a change to the reservation since there is less than 75 days before sailing. Plus, I transferred another reservation to get the 10% off plus the $200 shipboard credit since I booked while on board last time. I guess I just booked one day too soon! But hey, my daughter is thrilled with the oceanview room, so if she is happy then so am I!

We are! :rotfl: Would you like to meet up and get a cab so we travel together, even if it's in different cabs if there are too many of us. There are 3 of us (DS14) I was hoping someone would be going at the same time -- safety in numbers with all the problems in Mexico, although I'm hoping Cozumel won't be a problem.

We are doing the Dolphin Swim at 1:00 PM and would like to get their early too? If you're interested, feel free to PM and I can send you my email address.

That sounds great! My dh said it would be nice to at least know someone else while we're there on the excursion to help keep track of the time and in case there are any problems!
Did you read this??? http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=968122

Good mood here this morning,

Checked my reservation and dining has been switched to main, now that was a surprise and I am happy :)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Are you certain of this? There is a penalty for cancellation of a reservation, but I've never read that there is a cost to make a change other than if you booked thru DVC. Since this was an onboard rebooking, your benefits (10% + $200) would stay the same, and you could either be refunded for the difference between the 9 and 11 or have it placed on your onboard account.

There is a "re-ticketing" fee to change a name on a reservation that starts at 30 days. I'm not aware of any fee to change a cabin category at any point. I know we've changed without incurring any fees....but that was about a year ago. Things may have changed since we did it.

We're doing the Dolphin Discovery through DCL. Our meet time is 9:45 a.m.

woohoo!
Glad you got the dining you wanted and maybe that means they are working on things... hehe Pretty soon we'll have our room assignments- can't wait to see what the verdict is on our two rooms. LOL

So glad you posted that. It's great to know what we need to do. I think I'll email them too and ask them what the procedure is so at least I've got a name of who said what etc.

Maybe all of us that booked on our own can cab over together--to me, there is comfort in numbers. If anyone else feels the same, let's stick together.

We are doing Wednesday, June 3, 2009

Dolphin Swim at Dolphinaris10:00AM - 2:00PM

We're going to Dolphinaris for the Dolphin Swim, too! We're going with DCL, though - not on our own. We are me, the grandma, my DD, and my DGD 7. We should get together. It's always more fun, doing stuff with friends...

Any room assignments yet?

Well...no (I need an Eeyore smilie to insert!).

I am hopeful, but I bet it will be Monday at the earliest. Of course last weekend was a holiday so maybe that's why everything got released on Mon and Tues.

I have been watching and the Cat. 11's keep popping up and then going away. That's weird.
