On our last Magic cruise, the rainforest pass was $75...so if you will use it every day, it's a good deal. On the Wonder, they had 3 and 4 day passes, and also had a special "couples pass." Didn't see any of these on the Magic in March.
Yes, "UP" will have a PremEar at Sea on May 29 at 12:01 am, and will be shown several times on our cruise (hooray!)
We don't have a cabin assignment yet--I don't expect them till the end of April.
Land's End has a nice looking swim suit in the "not quite perfect" section--one piece, lady's suit with mis-marked packaging. Unfortunately, there's only one color available in my size and if I wore that, I'd look like a giant pumpkin in it.
One of our guests sent me her passport number, so we're slowly but surely getting there....2 more waiting for them to arrive.
That's weird, 'cause I've tried several times and it won't do anything. It just sits there after I've typed in the email, password, reservation # and my birthdate. After I click on retrieve reservation a couple of times, it tells me that my user name or password isn't correct (but they are).![]()
Also wanted to mention that the new 3-D movie "UP" will be realeased a few days before our cruise so we should get to see it on our cruise in the theater!!! How cool is that!
I was hoping that it would be there as it looks like a fun movie - 3-D and all.
Did you see this announced somewhere? Oh the excitement builds!!!![]()
Do you think checking every 3 hours is too much????![]()
I would be checking every hour if possible, unfortunately I have to wait 10 hours until I get home from work every day because my work blocks the Disney cruise site!Do you think checking every 3 hours is too much????![]()
It is interesting that I booked this cruise two days ago, a cat. 9 that "magically" appeared while I was looking for a great rate, and I have my cabin assignment already. I expected a GTY. I wanted a cat. 11 to save some money but it wasn't available.
Laura
Just on a whim, I checked on all the 7 day cruises in May. The May 2 and 16 - which all have cabins assigned - has all the categories opened up. This is different than before. For our cruise, there is only Cat6 and above open for 2 adults (0 kids). Funny thing is that they all - on the May 2 and 16 - (cat10 and cat11) are coming up GTY. I bet some of those in that bunch might be seeing a second upgrade. It also looks like ours is next for the assignment.

LOLYes, it is too much, but many of us are guilty. When you start getting error messages about being unable to log in to the web site, etc. it can mean that they are working on our cabin assignments. And, yes, availability (what's for sale) can change as they do the assignments. I looked at my suitcase today (does that count?)
Oh man, why in the world is that website blocked? weirdness. LOL You can come HERE but not the disney cruise site?I would be checking every hour if possible, unfortunately I have to wait 10 hours until I get home from work every day because my work blocks the Disney cruise site!
We have mickey tie dyed shirts but they aren't lime green- so I figured we'd wear our white tees (when else can we wear white and not ruin the shirts? certainly not in the parks or at Fort Wilderness! They'd be fithy! LOL) with our mickey icon/design that says Disney cruisin' budgeteers (if I have that right- it's whatever got the highest vote on the poll. now I'm getting which way confused! LOL)Lime green kids tshirts are buy 2 get 1 free at Hanes.com(so are other colors)! Just though I'd throw that out there....lol! We may be making lime green mickey head tie-dye shirts for boarding day!
We never go to the scheduled breakfast- even when we had late dining it was too early for us to all go and if DH is going with the kids while I finish packing up our carryons (carry OFFS. wahhhhhhh) and checking to make sure nothing is left behind unintentionally- he'd rather do the buffet. So that's what he does- and brings me something back to eat quickly before we get out of our room on time. LOL With main dining this time I KNOW for sure we won't be eating breakfast in the dining rooms that last morning! One other thing I forgot to post, even though there are only two dining times now 5:45 and 8:15, breakfast on last day was still staggered with three early and three late seatings and times were based on which restaurant you dined in for dinner the last night.
We were given tickets on the last night with what time to be there. Ours was Lumieres at 6:30 a.m. UGH! Kids went without me.
about dining: yes that's what I figured. It really doesn't help to have late dining as far as when getting back on the ship- it's basically the same time when figuring in getting ready for the show and going to the show! Might as well give main dining a go this time. LOL Also you're right- it IS a pain to have late dining and having to rush to get the bags out on time. I never get them out BEFORE the show and then late dining- so then my last night is spent rushing back to the room after dinner, packing everything up, then trying to catch the tail end of adult activities.I hope you like main dining
I think they have to be 13 to check siblings in and out, so our first few cruises, we did most of the running ourselves. But by this cruise, we have us and 4 dds old enough to do the checking in so it really works out good if we each just take one night. One benefit to having a tribe of children I guessSometimes they don't go to the club, but usually they do.
We never really found that early dining impacted us having to get back to the ship any earlier from excursions or anything except on that last day being Castaway it seemed a little rushed to get changed and to dinner at 5:45. That day would probably be more relaxing to have late seating although then you are last minute getting luggage out the door.
I guess there are advantages to both, but for my gang, early works best and we probably aren't getting it this time.
To everyone who is meeting at the terminal, we don't have lime green or anything but are easy to recognize with all the kids and would love to meet other Disers prior to boarding so the kids can make cruise buddies. We will get there early just in case, so if you see the crazy mom with 6 girls and a boy in tow, that's me!
Laura, congrats to your daughter on her graduation. One of the dis designs people made me some beautiful graduation cruise graphics (my dd is graduating high school) for magnets if you are looking for some.
