brucechase: I sent you my email address by pm last week, but I still haven't received the list.:confused3

I just sent you another pm.

I like Disney Cruisin' Budgeteers.

Carolyn - my calves hurt so bad too. I started to do the Wii Fit and I could hardly stand let alone walk up or down stairs all day today.

No, I'm 5'11" and I'm hoping to get some wright off in the next 2 months in spinning classes. I went to spinning class the first time last Wednesday and was ok on Thursday, but Friday I thought I'd crash. I could barely walk. My muscles in my legs hurt so bad I could hardly stand it! Funny thing is I'm going to do it again this evening. Wish me luck. I lost 2 lbs. the first time and I'm hoping to loose some tonight too. ha ha
Ohh, I just realized you said your height- you are tall! well atleast I consider that tall. LOL

is for Cruisin' Budgeteers :cool1: it's catchy
Yeah I kinda liked that one the best...

however, I like the idea of Disney in there. cruisin' disney budgeteers works for me because it's not like we're ONLY budgeteers about the cruise- we're disney budgeteers (atleast we are- I can't speak about all of you LOL) that are ALSO cruisin'... cause this tme it's a budget cruise too. get it? LOL

We are a family of 3. When we eat, will they put us with another family or can we eat alone?

They will probably put you with another family. We are a family of 4 and on our first cruise (last year), we were with a mom and her son.

There is really no way to tell how they'll put you. We're a family of 5 and so far we're 2 for 2 being sat at a table alone.... but with a table of 3 there is no way of knowing ahead of time. Another family with Dis were a family of 4 and they were seated at a table for 4- so I assume you could be at a table for 3? I dunno. But they ended up sitting with me/DH at our table for 6 since our kids didn't eat with us most nights (only 2 nights and on those nights we just had our 2 tables put together- our tables were originally right next to one another anyway LOL) Wait except in AP they just added more chairs to our table for 6- they couldn't put 2 tables together there since ours was rounded table. LOL

Anyway if you really want to eat alone -go to rocking bar d and ask them how you are set up- if you're with another family ask them if it's possible for you to sit at a table alone and see if they are able to do that for you?

Guess it got GONE that fast??!!! Glad I'm not looking, haha, but wish everyone that is GOOD LUCK!!!:yay:

It will probably pop back up, it takes a little while after someone has looked at it but not booked it for it to show back up on their site. That's what the TA and Disney both told me.;)

That's like the ones we bought with our group for the PC cruise. We had some that were red/black and some that were lime green (so everyone had a choice). We bought both. The ones we got that were green are the ones I was talking about we'd probably wear on embarkation day (and other times maybe?) so that everyone could recognize us since we're probably not going to have lime green shirts to wear. The kids liked the red/black ones for pirate night also. We bought extras of those and handed them out during the pirate party. LOL

The engraving is really not visible (that's what I meant when I mentioned that earlier) unless you have your eyes like a few inches from it really trying to read it. Mostly you just see the lime green and recognize that. So look for the bracelets before boarding- that's us! LOL

Who's doing the parks before the cruise? We are checking in AKV's 5/21 and then moving to BWV's 5/25 until the cruise:cool1:

We're only doing 1 day at the parks using some old tickets that I purchased while still a cast member. DH wants to do US & IOA this time. We leave for the drive to FL on May 22. Drive as far as OKC where we spend the night & attend our DN's graduation, then leave after the reception for FL. We'll be staying with my DH & his family while in Orlando.

I just changed our Cozumel excursion from Dolphinarius to Dolphin Discovery Cozumel at 9:45 a.m. Who knows, I may change it again! LOL!

I would really like to do the jeep excursion but I'm not sure just how *bumpy* the ride is. We have a jeep so I'm used to riding in one, but I don't like being bounced around a lot. I'm not sure if this one goes off-road or not. Anyone know?:confused3

I just wanted to let you guys know that if you click on the DU link at the bottom of the page, there is a deal to be had. For our cruise, they have $899pp for a cat 11. I booked this cruise last year while on the Wonder and when I changed to cat 12, I lost that 10% discount. So, I got a room that is fairly midship on a higher deck, got that discount back and saved $135! :woohoo: I know it's not much but every little bit helps. Has anyone heard about the cost of a barrel of fuel yet? I am looking forward to that OBC, too. :thumbsup2

So, Bruce, we are now in room 6587, staying at the Radisson (no shuttle time yet), doing KW on our own, island tour with butterfly farm on GC and dolphin swim at Dolphinaris on Cozumel.

When we switched we lost the 10% discount also (still have OBC though) but how did you save? Did you not get the cat 12 at the discount price? We got the 2 cat 12 gty's for $668.90 each (including tax/fees- that's total price)
:confused3
So for our family of 5- that would cost us more, not less.
?

I guess you got a better deal to begin with than I did. I think I paid more than that for our cat 12. I don't know the breakdown because they don't send you any info whenever you make a change over the phone or online. When I changed from cat 9 to cat 12, it was about 1/2. When I called DCL, they didn't show the same price I had on my computer. The CM had to look online and talk to her supervisor to get me the price I was showing. But then she added in taxes, fuel and transfers (which I have since cancelled). I don't think they should have done that because what you see online is usually all you have to pay. But by then, that rate was gone and I had no paperwork... :headache:

A CAT. 12 just popped up on DCL's site!!! In case anyone needs one!

Guess it got GONE that fast??!!! Glad I'm not looking, haha, but wish everyone that is GOOD LUCK!!!:yay:

My friend got the Cat 12!! They are still looking for another, but they are thrilled to get this one. That puts my group at 10 Cat 12 GTY rooms.

As for the upgrade possiblities, one of the ladies in my group was told by a TA that based on the number of Cat 12s sold to date that we could end up anywhere between decks 5 & 7. That was in mid December. Can't wait to see what we actually get.:woohoo:

BTW - love the group name.

Woohoo- glad they got it! I hope they get the next one. What happens if they don't get the other one they are hoping for? Wow you have a large group- 10 rooms already! wowzer!!!!!!

Between decks 5 & 7... but what category is what I want to know! If someone gets a verandah I'm gonna be JEALOUS. :rotfl: It does sound like they've sold a lot- I mean a lot is just on this thread and by far not every cat 12 sold has reported it on this thread- yanno? I wonder why they keep opening up a cat 12 here and there? I mean they've already way oversold those cat 12's- so is it just when someone that has one cancels? But even then you'd think they wouldn't open it back up since they've already oversold the cat 12's so much. Doesn't make sense that they'd just randomly decide oh let's throw another cat 12 out there, does it? LOL Definitely becoming the "budgeteers" cruise- for everyone even if they aren't DIS'ers! I'm gonna keep an eye out and see if all the categories all the way up to cat 4 are still available as we get closer and closer. And I wonder if as we get closer if those categories don't fill up if they'll just open up more cat 12's just to get more people on the ship. This is very odd for DCL- they don't usually have such a hard time filling up the ship. It will be odd if a big amount of people paid cat 12 and many are in higher categories on the ship due to upgrades that are necessary since they don't have that many cat 11's. That's what I mean by the whole cruise "budgeteers" even if they aren't on DIS. LOL

I also wonder what kind of bargains there might be for upgrades on the ship! Someone posted recently that once they were on and offered an upgrade from cat 12 gty to cat 3 for only $900! That seems like quite a bargain for that big of a jump! (for example in one of our rooms is only $1337 - add $900 and that means only $2237 for a 7nt cruise on cat 3? totally unheard of I think!)

I use to have one of those green rubber bracelets but I have no idea what happened to it, I think one of my DD's took it! It didn't have our sail date, just mickey heads. I think those would be great to have, then we can really identify each other and no one has to wear a lime green shirt!
