Hi Cruisers, Dayle an Makayla 1st time Disney cruise...this is my girls surprise 8th birthday present. I'm sure I saw someone has an 8yr old girl, Kaitlyn-would love to meet up so the girls can be friends. I'm a single mom always happy to make new friends wherever we go. Looking forward to this!!!

Hi Dayle! I'm also a single mom and will be cruising with my dd who is 7 (she'll be 8 less than one month after the cruise). She always loves having me find her some friends before our cruises I'm sure she'd love to meet your dd!

Hi tnsmith4fun,

FE is short for Fish Extender. Every door has a little metal decorative fish
that holds mail for guests. People either make or buy a little pocket hanging
device (thus extending the fish) and do a small gift exchange with others on
the ship.
Example:

If you want to sign up for the FE exchange, just post your Stateroom #,
who's traveling in your room and any ages of kids (if they were traveling)

i.e. ( my family )

Someone usually acts as the leader/coordinator. on our cruise, mom2brooke76
will then add you to the list of all who are participating on the cruise.

Don't feel obligated; it's a small percentage of cruisers. You won't feel like an
oddball without a FE. Lots of people like it as a fun way to meet others on
the cruise.

oh so like my mom and i would bring our on FE to hang on the door. and then prior to the cruise the leader of this would do like room swap with everyone on the list and you put the gift in the FE at some point during the cruise? or everyone that is joining in on this meets to exchange the gifts, or am i totally wrong? LOL sorry first cruise EVER....
