Hey to all!

Our next question for discussion is "Where will you eat once onboard?" Do you plan to eat at Enchanted Garden, Cabanas, or just snack once onboard? (please notice I skipped over arriving at port, but we will get back to that. LOL)

Okay for us, we have done Cabanas both times we have sailed on the Dream. We have always preferred to eat at Parrot Cay on the Magic and Wonder for the sit down experience. I think we may try Enchanted Garden this time. Cabanas has been great for us though! Great views, the girls like this, plus ease of getting our food (not the traditional buffet line). But we want to try both to make a decision on which we like better on the Dream. Let me know if you have any questions about where you will eat once boarding is complete.

We plan to try everything. Are you asking because you are trying to get everyone to eat together? I hope not. I like the idea of being in a group for the fish extender gifts but don't want to be tied to a group for everything. This is a rest and relax vacation for us and we move slower than most so please don't include us in everything. We'll just drop off our gifts and the specified day, get to know you all when we meet and then greet everyone as we run into them. Hope not to offend anyone, but you will see when we meet ,that we aren't the usual young family group.

To be honest..we haven't really talked about it lol. I am thinking maybe enchanted garden. We like the whole sit down experience too. We ate at BBB on the wonder and it was just too crowded and chaotic for us. i am always so overwhelmed at the embarkation buffet...i can never choose just a few things lol

Sally, we want to do this cruise exactly the way you want to, too. We want to focus on family time for the 4 of us. This is an actual vacation that we will be taking just us and not going to visit someone. Since my husband and I met, every trip that we pretty much take (except our honeymoon) is either to go visit family in Peru or family in Georgia. Yes, it is time off from work and time away from home, but it is to go visit someone and going to the same place over and over again. We want to enjoy each other on this vacation without obligations.

Sandra, I could not have said it better myself. We will have fun chatting here and the FE but everything else is personal choice. It is after all our families vacations! Those are precious memories to us. We like to eat by ourselves and nap every afternoon. Sorry, you can't nap with us. LOL. Anyways.... of course we want our cruises the way we plan them and that is they we should have them!!!!

BTW way I am going to be solo on this trip no DH with us so I know my DD's are going to be in the kids things a lot so if anyone see's me by the pool or clubs with my drink in the air and having fun you can join me LOL

Hey, How old are the kids? And what part of the country are you from? Those 2 things can help you decide which seating you prefer. We have 2dds, 8 and 4 when we cruise. We have main seating for dinner. We also live in Florida so eating at 5:45-6 fits right in with what we normally do at home. Late seating would mean for cranky people, the girls, the husband and mostly me!!!! Anyways, EG for dinner is a very nice experience. Good food there too! The way the colors change from day to night is neat to see. There is also art work for the midship detectives right outside eg on deck 2 and the bottom of a neat staicase that leads to the atrium. Before and after dinner you can hear the live music that is playng 1 deck up outside RP. It is a nice atmosphere. We liked breakfast there too! Nice and quite. But still the buffett and window seats! Like I said, I think we are going to try Embarkation buffett here for soemthing different this time. Talk to you soon!

Well, everyone....I hate to have to do this, but I am not going to be able to sail with you all on this cruise. Things have just fell through the bottom financially for us right now and we had to cancel to get the money. We are hoping that we can possibly rebook sometime in Feb. but no guarantees we will be able to get anything on this cruise date. I am so so sad beyond words about this, this is the 2nd cruise we've had to cancel. sometimes i wonder if we should just give upa nd not try to go on anymore cruises. I hope you all have a great time and I have enjoyed getting to know all of you and talking with you. Hugs to all of you. One of you will need to take over the keeping track for the FE exchange ...I can try to send whoever does the list i have made already. let me know.
