We just booked this cruise the other day! If you need somebody to lead it, I'd be willing to do it and continue the fun. It'll be me, my friend Jill, and my dad. We're in 12018.

Welcome . So glad you've joined us. You and Suzy can decide who wants to lead -- she's been on the cruise before as I remember. Who ever decides to lead I'll be glad to help but have never done an FE exchange.

I've already started making FE gifts! Never too early to start right? Sandra I see you're from Miami. That's about 45 minutes to 90 minutes away from me depending on I-95 traffic.

Sally, I am glad you got your luggage. That's cool. I can't wait until May. As for the leader of the FE group, it does not matter to me who does it, or if I do it. If Sandra or Kathleen particularlly want to do it, just say so and it is yours! I can always be the back up person if needed. We already have a name "The Black Pearls", thanks to Lisa and her poll! "The Black Pearls" is an awesome name for our group. So glad you got your luggage Sally! It makes the trip feel closer to reality. Anyway, I was also wondering if anyone would be interested in those silicone wristbands with our group name on them in lime green (the color for DIS). You wouldn't have to pay for them, all you have to do is let me know how many people are in your group so I can have the right amount made. If you do just post here or PM me. Hope everybody had an awesome week! One week closer to cruising and the first week of my Junior year completed!

Sure, we'll have some wrist bands. There's 5 in our group and I'll be glad to pay for them. What a nice idea!! Congratulations on the completion of your junior year. What do you want to be when you're finished? Nursing is a great occupation if you love personal interaction and helping others. I highly recommend obstetrics. I've had a great 50 years doing what I love. Congratulations again

Did anyone hear how Castaway Cay did with the Hurricaine Irene?. I sure hope those folks travelling that day were able to enjoy themselves. What a dissapointment to wait so long for a trip to Castaway Cay and then have it ruined by bad weather. I'm sure Disney will have the island all ship shape long before we get there but I sure feel sorry for the travellers a couple of days ago.

Well, everyone....I hate to have to do this, but I am not going to be able to sail with you all on this cruise. Things have just fell through the bottom financially for us right now and we had to cancel to get the money. We are hoping that we can possibly rebook sometime in Feb. but no guarantees we will be able to get anything on this cruise date. I am so so sad beyond words about this, this is the 2nd cruise we've had to cancel. sometimes i wonder if we should just give upa nd not try to go on anymore cruises. I hope you all have a great time and I have enjoyed getting to know all of you and talking with you. Hugs to all of you. One of you will need to take over the keeping track for the FE exchange ...I can try to send whoever does the list i have made already. let me know.

Hey, How old are the kids? And what part of the country are you from? Those 2 things can help you decide which seating you prefer. We have 2dds, 8 and 4 when we cruise. We have main seating for dinner. We also live in Florida so eating at 5:45-6 fits right in with what we normally do at home. Late seating would mean for cranky people, the girls, the husband and mostly me!!!! Anyways, EG for dinner is a very nice experience. Good food there too! The way the colors change from day to night is neat to see. There is also art work for the midship detectives right outside eg on deck 2 and the bottom of a neat staicase that leads to the atrium. Before and after dinner you can hear the live music that is playng 1 deck up outside RP. It is a nice atmosphere. We liked breakfast there too! Nice and quite. But still the buffett and window seats! Like I said, I think we are going to try Embarkation buffett here for soemthing different this time. Talk to you soon!

I have two DD's one is going to be 14 years old the day b4 we get on the Dream...this is for her b-day we did for years from 2000-2007 WDW so it was time to do this lol my other DD is going to be 4 1/2 years old.... we too eat at 6pm or so at home but in the summer it has been 7pm or so....I just want to be able to put my 4 year DD down for nap if no nap then I'll have one crazy kid at night lol

Ok! I've got you on the list . Thanks so much! I have to have all of my applications in by the beginning of senior year next year. I like music and I like teaching so I want to have a degree in music education. I've been playing the cello since 5th grade which is about 6 years.

what a wonderful occupation to aspire to!!!!!!You are the only person I've known who has actually played the Cello. Congratulations---- what a brilliant musician you must be!!!!!!Way back when I played the accordian until my neighbours complained too much. I thought I was very good but certainly not smart enough to play the Cello.

Thanks! I'm not really that brilliant lol still room for improvement. I'm only 16 and have plenty of time to improve my skills. The accordion? that's awesome! I saw a Cirque du Soleil (one of the things I want to be involved in sometime down the road) show back in July and really want to play the accordion after hearing some of the music

So now that we have chosen the name Black Pearls how do we go about making up a T-shirt logo with a design on it? I know nothing about the Black Pearls (tried to watch the Johnny Dep movie but it was way too violent for me) and have no idea how to choose designs and then get them to everyone all over the country. Help please someone ----maybe our new leader understands the computer more that me. I have 5 yellow t-shirts for our group -- hope the Black pearls design goes with yellow

Hey Sally, I am not very good with the computer either. "The Black Pearl" is a pirate ship in the Pirates movies. It was Capt. Jack's ship. (Johnny Depp). The s was added to specify all of us. As for a design, I don't know what we could do, but I will try and look at some stuff. I just don't know how to do those designs. Once we find some thing we like, we could ask the Disdesign board (here on the Dis) to help with creating a design we could all use. And we can make sure it goes with yellow! LOL. I will see if we have anytime this weekend and try to link ideas here. Anyone else who wants to please do. And if you can make the entire design, please do. Because I am computer challenged at best!
