Andy,
Of course you already know that I am full of excitement. I haven't been on the computer this much since we first got it in 1995! Besides people we have talked to while at Disney World, It is our only link to previous Disney Cruisers:earsboy: :earsgirl:
Really looking forward to the wine tasting. Going tomorrow to pick out our wines.

Jessie,

It gets very addicting around here on the boards!!!

The kids are sleeping, so I finally get a little down time. It is great spending it on a message board that is all about DISNEY!

I'm going back and forth between here and ebay, I have about 7 minutes left on a bid I put in. Keep going there to check in on it. Last night I won the item I was bidding on by "one penny." The last time I won my bid with 6 seconds left and by 50 cents. Got to go back to ebay, Later!!!

Andy

My husband is the one that knows how to do the 6 seconds left on bidding... I just know how to dance!

I won my bid, it was for a Hawaiian shirt for my mom for our cruise in August. I won the bid last night for my neice's Hawaiian shirt, I love ebay!!! I got my DD her Hawaiian shirt two weeks ago for $1.25 on ebay.

I'm off to bed for the night, time to close up shop!!!

Andy

I guess it is getting close to that magical sleeping hour. Good night and count Mickeys if you can't sleep!

:p Yes Yes Yes, we are all very excited and can hardly stand the wait. Emmak and family are leaving Wed. for FL, can't wait. Haven't seen my Mak & Emma since Jan. Then off to the Port we go on Saturday. It's already grrrrrreat and we haven't even gotten there yet. This is so unbelievably thrilling for us all. See you all onboard, we'll be the ones with our mouths open in awe.
There are some who ask me, "aren't you ever going to grow up", and to that I always say, "God, I really hope not". I am having a whole lot of fun and loving it. See you Sat. Bon Voyage!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:       :earsboy: :earsgirl: :sunny: :jester: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc  :smooth:

Jeanne434,
I'm not sure how to fix this but you should be closer to 75, I think I counted post 61 at least 5 times. I'm still a newbie here so you may want to check with a regular on getting that problem fixed, so you can be a Veteran by next week.

So I miss one day and have 3 pages to catch up on and a wonderful e-mail from Jennifer and Dave!!!!

Jennifer and Dave - I sent you a very long e-mail already, so won't repeat it here. Except for the very big WELCOME from us - hope you don't mind us asking you to autograph our Passporters!!!!!! That's what happens when you get to be faMOUSE authors!

Andy - Got the book and shirt back THANKS!!!!!! - Andy took a picture I had of Fidelio and Michael and put it on a lime green shirt for me so Michael can suprise Fedelio at Dueling Pianos!!! It's a great shirt and we just love it!

Got a great e-mail that my favorite server Roger will be on the Magic so you know where I will be upon embarkation, I'm going straight over to Dining Room changes and make sure he will be our server. The man is phenomenal!

I heard that Disney is offering a Bounce Back Credit of $100 per stateroom for those who have recently stayed at a WDW resort. Not sure of the details, but wrote to our TA and asked him about it. Probably has a catch that we can't use our castaway club $200 onboard credit with it.....always something.

I spent 4 1/2 hours in a First Communion preparation class yesterday with Michael and a dozen other hyper and tired kids. Then came home, tried to take a nap and returned for a very long 1 1/2 Mass - then had dinner with friends at their restaurant. They are Italians so we stayed a VERY LONG TIME. God blessed me with Italian friends to make up for the fact that I won't be living in Italy anymore. So needless to say, I'm running on reserve today!!!!

I will get t he list up tonight, I promise and maybe a picture of two!

Love,
Rae

We have a couple of questions about the cruise ship rooms. Are there shampoo and shaving lotion/cream in the bathrooms? If there is shampoo is it the same stuff they use in the Disney hotels? How are the pillows, overstuffed or are there some flat ones in the room also? Has anyone bought a wine package on board or do most people bring their wine with them? We can get the wines offered on the ship much cheaper from the local ABC store here in Gainesville. I understand you must bring your booze on in your carry on luggage, is this correct? I was going to bring a mixed case of wine but don't want to lug it around.

We have so many things to do this week, fence along one side of our land, dog door, pick up motorcycle from shipper and bring her home, pack and dance!

Does any one have experience using motorola or kenwood FRS 2-way raidos on board? Is there a lot of interference from all the steel on the ship? How is the range aboard the ship? I know the following will depend on our cell carrier, but can we use our cell phones on St. Thomas?

Just a note, this forum is great. I knew there were people like us out there, just didn't know where to find them. Some one in the thread was asked if they were ever going to grow up? I'm frequently asked the same, because of our unnatural fasination for all things Disney. My answer is always the same. No way!
Bill and Jessie, oh yeah the kids too. :jester:

There is shampoo. soap and lotion in the bathrooms - sample sized. No shaving lotion though. Pillows are okay. I use a "D" core pillow with theirs due to my neck problems so I don't notice it as much.
If you have use your wine at dinner, there is a uncorking fee. So go ahead and BYOB but don't drink it in the dining room! Yes, carry it on yourself!

So very much to do before crusing - any questions just ask!!!

I heard that you can use your cell phones as long as there is a satellite available for it. Might as well give it a try. I've lost too many quaters on St. Thomas using their pay phones to get through with my calling cards!!

Anyone familiar with the Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville, NY? Great wine there folks! I have to get it shipped to a liquor store here in Indiana and shipping is almost as much as the wine!!!! I recommend May Wine and Holiday Wine especially.

I think we are going to have a great time since there is ample opportunity for us to see eachother and have time alone and with our children.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for some fantastic weather now!

Rae

Is there anyone interested in being in the Talent Show during our cruise? I know that we are talking about doing something during our Halloween Cruise, but would like to see if any of our hidden talents on May 3 would like to try something?!

I can sing okay (backup) but I'm enthusiastic and an actor - so I'm in!

Anyone else?

Rae

Does anyone have any experience putting the smallest ones in babysitting? We have two under three and were hoping to put them in a few hours each day we are at sea and also the evening we do Palo. If any one has other suggestions let us know.

We have stayed twice at disney in the last thirty days, who do we need to contact to try and get this $100 credit? Do we just call the DCL?

Doing the single digit dance...

Rae, thank you for the long e-mail! Of course, we'd be honored to sign anyone's PassPorter. :D

I have to confess that I had my usual pre-cruise nightmare last night. Yep, I dreamt that we missed the boat! I was inconsolable, and I begged DCL to let me on that the next port. It was pretty pathetic. When I woke up this morning, I felt a huge surge of relief... it was just a dream, I didn't miss the cruise, and I won't miss the cruise!

I found myself wondering if anyone else has dreams about missing the boat. Anyone?
