It will be 95 degrees here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area today! Too hot way too soon for us!!! I am looking forward to a bit cooler weather on the trip!

Thanks you everyone for the advice! I bought a purse that has 4 security features for the important stuff, and I think that will ease my mind. Also scaring... I mean educating the kids that it is important when we are out to stay with us and not distract us.
I'm not afraid of big cities, but some of the stories I read can make you paranoid. I was a victim in Paris many years ago, but I was so naive and foolish. No one is coming within 100 yards of me in Barcelona. (Ha - we'll see how well that works!)

I really don't like cold weather. That's why we live in Texas. We do get some cold, but it doesn't stick around very long.

Yeah in Toronto we are having similar weather. I'm not impressed that there are still the occassional flurries. Can't wait for some warm weather!!

What purse did you get? I'm looking for a new bag for this trip, since I'm certainly not carrying the diaper bag DH can carry that

I would love to hear more specifics on what you found too! I think finding the right purse/bag is going to be a challenge.

Anyone here a Passporter's Club member? Not just registered with them to read their boards, but a paying member to download their e-books and e-forms.

I was thinking about joining, but thought $45.00 for the year was a bit much, don't know if I will use their books that often, but they change so much month to month. By the time you order one things have already changed.

I have the cruise passporters book on my desk right now. I don't leave home without when I am planning. I have loved their books for years and have a been a member of the on-line community since our first Disney cruise in 2003. I am also a member of the PassPorters Club and find the ebooks amazing. Just downloaded the new cruise one the other night. LOVE IT! I don't always have my club membership active, I usually do month by month and have it a few months a year to download the ebooks as I need them. I would be lost their books in my Disney planning. I recommend them to everyone I know who is planning any type of Disney adventure.

Wow eleven cruises and just finding the Disboards. The FE was closed at the end of March, but others don't mind adding you I can. We already have 20.

If the rest of you don't mind adding one more, let me know.

I hadnt heard anything and thought I would share in case someone else was in the dark with me lol

Yeah, I didn't know that, that is odd that they would flip those two and backtrack. The other question/concern I have is that we are doing the DCL Boat Ride to ZIngaro Park excursion in Sicily and it says it runs from 830 am to 4:45 pm. So we have to be on the boat at 4pm though, are they changing the time on te excursion then. I will have to call and figure that out.

OMG I think you are right. I'm getting ready to call them to find out what is going on. They probably changed it due to it being "independence day" there on 2 June. So we will be there 1 June and then in Naples on 2 June. And, I bet that is why the time in Palermo was shortened because they need to get to Rome instead of Naples, they have to go further that night.

OKAY, No one freak out yet. I've just spent 34 minutes on the phone with Disney Cruise and they have no idea what is going on. No one could answer my question of why it states the change on the site.

They are supposed to call me back tomorrow. But, bet that it is correct and they have changed the dates because of independence day. Thank goodness we can change our Vatican tickets once without a penalty. Now I have to contact my driver in Rome and make sure that he can change us from 2 June to 1 June.

If this is the case it is better for us so we can actually do things in Rome and not have to fight the enormous crowds they will have by the Coliseum and The Roman Forum on 2 June.

I've already changed it on the website, but I will change it back if it is a mistake.

My husband noticed this and I called DCL on Monday. They confirmed that the May 28 itinerary had not changed. They then transferred me to the web representative and they also confirmed that the May 28 itinerary had not changed, but what was coming up for May 28 was really the June 18 itinerary. She said she was submitting a request to get the website corrected. It doesn't appear that it has been corrected as of yet.

I mentioned that the the Naples onboard time had changed from 9:00 pm to 7:00pm and they did confirm the 7:00 pm time.

If anyone gets a difference response please post.

The Disney website still shows Rome as June 2nd under the My Cruise Plans section...
