Leslie, nice to see another 18 year old on this cruise! My son will be 18 1/2 by the time we cruise.

It was no easy task convincing her to go. Two weeks without her boyfriend, cell phone, and friends was almost too much! I bribed her with dinner at Palo and shopping.;)

If anyone is interested:

This is what I have scheduled in Napels:
1. 2 hour guided tour of Pompeii (we can stay longer if we want, but without the guide).
2. a self guided tour of Herculaneum.

Last year we did Pompeii and the a drive down the coast. The coast was beautiful, but I want to see more than just the coast.

Currently I have 3 seats available. I have another family that wants to join us, but they have too many people. If others would want to join I could get two vans and we could go as a group of 14.

Me and my family = 4, the other family = 5, so 5 more could join us and we all could go in two vans.

Please let me know if you are interested so I can let Rudy know to hold two vans.

My son is a big Disney fan, so it was easy for us, but this is our first DCL cruise where he will be considered an adult, so he is looking forward to Palo brunch and dinner.

More information on the Le Spezia - Driver in Rome Pisa and Florence (4 seats available) tour. They will waive the 75 euro charge for pick up at our dock.
And we do see the "real" David statue :) They seem real nice to work with (although I haven't "talked" to anyone yet who isn't.

Please include me and my husband, Tyrone, to your tour. I am very excited to see Florence and Pisa. I noticed, on the site, that their tours depart from Livorno which is 45 miles from our port La Spezia. Is that change the 75 that they are waiving? I just want to make sure. My correct email address is kimberleyshelton@comcast.net if you want to communicate that way. Looking forward to spending the day with you and your family.

We now have only two seats left for our Palermo tour, so if anyone else is interested, please let me know!

So my husband just booked this cruise today and I am so excited. It will be my husband and I and our 5 year old daughter. What should I expect and what should I plan for? Thank you! :)

Jamie (myself) - 30
Jess (husband) - 33
Lorelei (daughter) - 5

Finally called the travel agent for my new reservation number. I couldn't reserve activities online without it. I was getting nervous. I was able to book shore excursions and a Palo dinner. Brunch and tea was not available but I might try to book it when we board the ship. So far our trip is shaping up to include: :goodvibes

Malta: Blue Lagoon and Fishing Village (Disney)
Palermo: Selinute and Marinella (Disney)
Naples: On our own, planning to take train to Herculeum or Pompeii
Rome: DriverinRome tour
Florence: DriverinRome tour
Corsica: On our own, walking and shopping near Port
Villefrance: On our own, train to Nice

Cindy, add us as 2 more if you are able to book a second brunch. :wizard:

Welcome!
Whereabouts in Germany do you live? (I'm up north)

By the way, I got a really nice letter from Disney Cruise Line yesterday telling me that we won't be visiting Tunis but Palermo. Not exactly breaking news anymore ;)

But anyway, it's always nice to get mail from DCL!

Thanks MaryMom! :)

I live in Spangdahlem about 30 minutes away from Trier.

Not too far from us her in Belgium. There is a lot of things to look into, you can use the Disney site, the Disboards, and our website for the this cruise.

Welcome to our group.

Cindy

Oh I see, that is way further south than we are - is it as freezing cold there as it is here? The weather here really makes me wish it was already May and we were on the Magic ...
