Jedisan- Was this your hubby's idea? Does he want to be Beer Bash "Captain"? (in charge of setting locations,times,dates and informing the beer group of any changes). I know The Man (Wmjivey) was willing to have a few people taste his home brew, so maybe Blake and The Man can chat about a day for that.


Wow, sounds like we'll have lots of Dis get togethers for people to choose from! This is great.

Now I'm confused w/the schedule...looks like most of our get togethers are 8ish....but aren't some folks going to be sitting down for dinner then and others going to the show at that time????

As far as being head "wino"...I would prefer that we look at an afternoon get together for the tasting of the grapes...I'm assuming we are talking sampling, so I would think it would not take too long...maybe 3-4 on Monday? Can we bring our bottles to the "secret" verandah area and would there be enough space? Let's say 3pm Monday for the wino group on Deck 7 (I think) secret verandah.

Got creative late last night and put this together for our lime green t-shirts

Its easy to do this with an Ink Jet Printer. Now I have to work on the front.

As for the schedule - the feedback has been wonderful. We just tried to put everything down in one place to make it easier to figure out what/when/where all the meets would be. My DH is not a drinker, so hopefully "The Man" will captain that event.

As for the other suggestions about times, we're updating the "lime green Navigator" and will post it again shortly with all the new changes. Since some people will be starting their vacation prior to the 5/28/05 sailing, hopefully we'll have a "final" draft ready by 5/21/05.

wccruiser - I definitely think we should get these printed out on lime green paper. Thank you for the offer. We were going to do this as well. Perhaps we can share?

Challada... banner? Are you talking the WELCOME banner or the We're # 1 banner? I'm making both... I found lime green fabric ($2.00 a yard) at walmart... Black Felt for lettering...
AND I feel that EVERYONE should get those huge "WE'RE #1" Fingers to wave around when we leave port, to wave at the well wishers as we go out... we'll be on TV NEWS and the news paper for sure. Party City has those fingers ...I think they are $2.99... I"ll check as I am going there later. This is getting exciting... I'm already so TIRED... I think this is going to be the most exhausting vacation EVER... and the most memorable.

It is really hard to plan these things, but as host, just set it up for when you want. Who ever can come, can come. With all these people and all the ship activities, different show and dinner times, there's probably no way to arrange a time when everyone will be free.

The second show starts at 8:30pm and usually lasts almost an hour, so if you are rescheduling, you would be starting around 9:30pm. And those of us eating late would be along shortly after. Is that too late for you?

sue-I'm with you on trying to change our seating to early. How do we do go about trying to do that?

Hi Margaret, We are on a waiting list for early seating (you just tell Disney or your Travel Agent) and they will put you on the list. Who knows how LONG this list is I have been calling every month or so to see if we have cleared. They told me that if we do not clear before the cruise that we can go to the area for dining reservations (will tell us where on the Navigator they give us) and try to change once on board.

It sure would be easier to make all the get togethers if we can get early seating!!

Hi everyone! I am a cruiser on the Eastbound Repositioning Cruise who is planning to meet the Magic on May 28, 2005 in LA with a few others from our group. What are your plans? We'd all like to join you! We have a huge banner! I'll be in CA on May 26 for a couple days at Disneyland before we pick up friends from the Magic.

Hi Tracy, Thanks for all your hard work posting the live photos. Regarding getting together before our cruise. We are driving to Long Beach Friday and will probably arrive around 2 or 3 PM. We are staying at the Coast Hotel in Long Beach but we haven't made any planes for that evening or the next morning yet. We have two young kids so I doubt we will be up for the 5 AM "Meet the Ship" event some are planning

We are planning to go to Scoops. We don't have kids with us and weren't sure if it was stil ok to come. I only drink 'fruity' drinks so no wine or champagne for me I'm gonna have enough trouble avoiding seasickness. I am looking forward to the strawberry daquari/pina colada concoction at sailaway though. I would love to see the suites too, if I am welcome. I may not post much and am sadly just as shy in person but you all seem like a great and fun group I may be forced out of my shell.

Yeah!! Another event nailed down for the lime green navigator! Ty, that sounds great! 430p is a great time, so my DH David and I will plan to be there on Sunday. Thank you so much for hosting the cocktail hour in your suite. Rock on!

Ty - Monday is Formal Night so you will probably have lots of fancy looking people in your suite. Everyone will have to get ready early to make it!

SueSings- Have you made your executive "Captain" decision on the Champagne Bubblehead Meet...time and location for Friday?

Also, I just colored my hair too, hoping to cover the gray, but I still have a few strands that didn't take!

Got our lime green clothing yesterday. We plan on wearing them on embarkation day. Also got our Home Depot alien green paint chips. Normally we wouldn't wear this stuff, but what the heck! We're on vacation!

Still no luck finding pirate stuff. We went to Party City, but all they had were cardboard masks and other party accessories. We were looking for pirate hats. We'll try a couple other party and thrift stores this week.

I love the idea of the lime green Dis-Navigator! We have early seating and we would like to see most of the shows after dinner, so we'll see what we can do about attending some of the evening activities.

We'll say a prayer for the family who lost a loved one at CC.
