Woohoo...we've hit 500 posts for our cruise...I must gab alot!

Our doortag will be one big mickey head magnet that will get passed to fellow Dis'ers' doors...I'll have some small mickey heads in a pocket on the back to keep on your door saying that you've already been tagged.

We ARE meeting at DL before the cruise (those of us who want to start the party early...LOL) We are doing a meet on Friday afternoon since the park will probably be getting packed by then...I believe we said in the GrandCalifornian Pool SnackLounge (accessible for anyone from the nonpool-side) and I think we were talking about doing it in the afternoon (it should be a couple pages back)....I'll check the time.

For making the Door Tag and for including ME! I can hardly wait for May 28th... This is gonna be soooooooo much fun. I'm so excited about this whole cruise... not only because it is DISNEY, but now because we will have other "friends" onboard!
This is a great disboard.. I just love it... I don't know what I will do after our cruise is over... I will probably just skulk around and read about everyone elses fun and anticipation. JUST 37 days to go... I"m worse than the kids!

I will be bringing some of my award winning brew I will be willing to share, just to get out of that ice cream or ice scream party that first day. The only neon green thing I might wear is my speedos that are three sizes too small just get the girls dander up.

We got our cruise documents today too. We booked with DU on the first day. We will be looking for all of the lime green at scoops. It will be me Mary and two DD's Alicia (17) and Amanda who will turn 16 on the cruise. We are in cabin 2058. I can't believe it is getting so close.

I wanted to say, again, that this is the nicest group of people ever Thank you for helping me feel better with my flu bug! Thankfully I'm into the coughing stage now so I know it's almost done.

So, now, my mom has started looking at WDW for next year. I know, I know, it's too early to think about especially since we've not even had our cruise yet! But since I'll likely be living in Jacksonville she figures it'll be an 'easy' trip for us now. So, just put that little idea into the back of y'all's heads, because I have a feeling some good friendships are forming and we might want to plan a meet up somewhere else someday!

A big Happy Birthday to all celebrating them recently, sorry I missed out on wishes when it was the actual day!

My TA said, she's called Disney and our docs are printing; will be sent out maybe this week or next. Perhaps the later they arrive the more likely more info is included?? <--wishful thinking!! (like formal/semi-formal, themes etc.)

And to the beer drinkin', man talkin' hubby who took over Hi! I like beer too and I'm not afraid to talk about it. I worked for a microbrewery in Colorado for about three years and live now in a major home-brewin' city. Bring it on, dude! (But seriously, lime green Speedos, not so much.)

Since I'm one of the few others on the East Coast, I get to be the first one to say Welcome Back and please join us at Scoops! The Dis group (that's us) is getting together there at 3:00 sailing day to meet, and so all the kids can hook up for playtimes. There are a lot of kids in the same age groups so this was a good way for them to break the ice with parent-units as a safety zone So get your Alien Green Mickey Head and come on over!

Today, I was told that we wouldn't know which nights were formal or semi-formal until we boarded and got our KTTW. No news there. But, it is the same for the whole ship, not based on which restaurant you're at in rotation. (I had begun to wager that it would be whichever nights we were in Lumiere's but no dice.)

No news on theme night yet.

Dangit.

Maybe someone else will have better luck! I'm going to stop trying!

You know for how slow this board started out, I am really glad that everyone stuck with it. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. My daughter was asking last night to make sure that I had put her name in for the meet at Scoops. We will be heading out this weekend to get our postcards and green Mickey heads. Brandy, yeeeeikes! Zip lines sound like fun but I just cannot handle heights. Now, my cousin Jessica and her boyf want to do that sometime, wish they were coming along they'd go with you guys! Have fun, report back!

I'm thinking, silver jewelry shopping in Cabo. Well and of course tequila! I don't think I'll do any organized shore excursions; my grandmother just isn't up to it and I'd rather mosey about, seeing and not on too much of a time crunch besides making it back to the ship on time. I may not even go ashore each stop. (Heck, nothing like having the ship to meeself )

Anyone know yet what the rules are about alcohol in Mexico re bringing it back with me? I can find info about the Bahamas, Caribbean, etc but nothing on Mexico.

I believe you're allowed one bottle per person to bring back into the US. We usually bring back a bottle and have never had a problem. I'm not sure if DCL has any issues with bringing the bottle to your cabin. Some cruise lines will "hold" it for you until the vacation is over and then return it to you.

Thanks for putting together a great list. I'm amazed at how many of us are posting. We are in cabin #7624 and have early dinner seating. We are from PA and with the time changes thought late seating would be too late. Is it too late to join in the door tag?
